The dungeons beneath Hogwarts Castle were quite large.
Large enough to hold storage rooms, Potions Class classrooms, the Bat Cave, the Slytherin dormitories, an abandoned classroom, and a vast empty hall.

Rolf, who was coughing just as violently, hurriedly waved his wand and swept all the dust into the deepest corner.

Hermione increased the brightness at the tip of her wand, illuminating a huge pile of badly decayed wooden desks.
"I know why there's so much dust here now."
She pointed at the grayish-brown hill at the very back.
Every little wizard who had sneaked in here and done the same thing as Rolf shared the blame.
For the dust to be piled higher than an adult, it must have been a tradition passed down since the school was founded.
"We don't have a cleanliness obsession."
Vincent stopped casting his sixth Scouring Charm.
Without so much as a blush or a gasp, he shook the dust he had just dislodged onto the little hill.
"Since we're already here, why not keep looking?"
The six little ones, inheriting this fine tradition, really did find several antique-grade items.
Cedric stared at the long, thick wooden stick in his hand, feeling that it looked very much like an ancient broomstick.
"This looks a lot like Rascal Rabbit before I modified it." Vincent shook his head and opened his palm.
What he had found was a heavily worn
