It had happened so suddenly that Vincent was still a little dazed.
Gu Gu's plump body trembled, as if it had sensed the deep malice coming from behind.
It tried to signal Crookshanks across from it with its eyes, but it was ultimately a step too late.
Vincent grabbed it and gave it a fierce ruffling.
The three young witches stepped forward to persuade him.
"Gu Gu is still young, and it didn't do it on purpose."
"Still young? It already knows how to gang up on Scabbers!"
"Uh... then just teach it a lesson."
"Gu Gu—"
"You still dare to talk back!"
Crookshanks sat obediently, completely motionless.
"If Scabbers gets lost, let's see how you'll face Hedwig!"
"Gu Gu—"
The "bloody" scene before it did not seem to frighten it.
Yet its well-behaved posture did prove that it had been affected.
"Just because it says there's a problem means there is one?"
Vincent shot it a reproachful look, and Crookshanks let out a very aggrieved meow.
"Gu Gu—" Gu Gu translated weakly, afraid he would not understand.
There was something wrong with Scabbers?
"What is wrong with him?"
It just had a feeling?
"So there is no evidence?"
Gu Gu nodded its little head.
"Heh heh heh—" Vincent laughed in exasperation.
Kneazles were magical creatures that looked like cats.
They had especially large ears, spotted fur, and tails like lions' tails.
They were solitary by nature and could always detect suspicious and untrustworthy people.
But what about Crookshanks?
It had ginger, fluffy, soft fur; a face as flat as a dried persimmon; and a tail puffed up like a brush.
Its head resembled that of an exotic shorthair, while its fur was like that of a Persian longhair. It was probably a mutt.
