Background / History

Divine Firmament began as a prominent Holy Land in the Azure Cloud Realm's Southern Domain. Its floating dojo hosted aptitude examinations, accepting candidates with at least fourth-grade aptitude into the Outer Sect and those with sixth-grade aptitude or higher into the Inner Sect; weaker candidates entered the menial labor area under strict advancement requirements. 1

The Holy Land maintained a broad regional network through Divine Firmament City. The city housed affiliated clans and sects, supplied the Holy Land with disciples and resources, and gathered hundreds of millions of cultivators. 335

The arrival of Lin Xuan and Yu Bing dramatically increased Divine Firmament's fortunes. When a six-family alliance attempted to coerce Divine Firmament into surrendering Lin Xuan, Holy Master Liu Ruyan rejected the demand and declared war.
