"Maybe the ship was making seven hundred interstellar jumps. It's normal for communications to be cut off."

"No, not the Milano. It's Yondu's ship. Groot and I are on his ship with him, three people total. We're just outside Ego's planet."
"Yondu? What exactly is going on?"
"Uh... it's complicated. Long story short, Ego isn't a good guy, Quill is in danger, and we came specifically to save you." Rocket summed it up succinctly.
"I knew there was something off about this planet and Ego. Looks like my intuition was right." Gamora said helplessly. "But you warned us too late. Quill respects his biological father a great deal now. He even had an argument with me over him."
"Forget that. Where are you now? We'll come pick you up first."
"The communicator has my location. Just fly over. I'm pretty far from Ego's palace right now, so he probably won't notice."
