A Meaningful First Lesson
After more than a dozen rounds of combat, Aaron was exhausted and panting heavily, his body covered in bruises and purple welts, looking extremely miserable.
But Jeans wasn't too worried. He had been through it all before and knew that these were just external injuries. He didn't even need to use Potions; he could just rub some medicated wine on them, get some sleep, and they would be healed in a day.
"Young Master, that concludes today's swordsmanship lesson."
Is it true?
"Seriously, two hours have already passed."
"I must admit, young master, you were quite dedicated during training."
"Then give me back my magic Wand."
Jeans immediately complied, placing the two Wand in Aaron's hands.
"Shattering Curse!"
Aaron cast a spell on the armor, and watching it turn into pieces of parts made him feel much better.
"Young Master, there's no point in doing this."
"But it makes me feel good," Aaron said calmly. "What about my Abei?"
"..." Jeans pointed to the hamster treadmill in the corner, his expression becoming particularly interesting, "I underestimated the appeal of delicious food to foodies."
I watched as he meticulously crafted a hamster treadmill, and Abei ran wildly, spinning rapidly, with wisps of smoke even rising from some of the joints.
If this continues, it'll probably be long before it's scrapped.
Aaron laughed, went over and lifted Abei off the ground, giving it an approving look. "Well done, your lunch will definitely be extra lavish."
Abei gave a big smile, took the few pages of color pictures in his hands, and carefully put them into his pocket.
Upon entering the first Secret Chamber, Aaron took a deep breath and summoned the memories of his Argus, Arg, through the black stone pillar.
"Who hit you?" Argus asked coldly. "Tell me, and I'll have Vico kill him."
"The descendants of Gaius must not be bullied by outsiders."
"Family!" Aaron exclaimed, deeply moved. "Blood is thicker than water after all."
"Um... Lord Argus, actually, it was just a minor injury I sustained during sword training," Jeans explained with an embarrassed smile. "A little medicine and a good night's sleep should be enough to heal me."
"That's all!"
Aaron:...
"Your change of expression is too fast!"
"I went through the same thing. Who hasn't been beaten as a kid?"
"It's different. You were definitely not forced to learn forging when you were a child."
"Who says there is no .
"But I didn't have a teacher as good as me back then, so you got a great deal." Argus chuckled, then took a small Hammer and tossed it directly into Aaron's hand.
"Take this, Sickle's an essential item for every blacksmith in the early stages."
"Early stage?"
"Of course, it's only in the early stages. For truly great blacksmiths, like me, Hammer isn't necessary." Argus said, taking out another booklet. "Here, this is the blacksmithing knowledge you need to master: temperature, cooling, quenching, material compatibility, and so on. Take a look when you have some free time."
Aaron opened the booklet. The illustrations were quite clear, but the various precise data and diagrams made him dizzy.
"So what do I need to do now?"
"It's simple!" Argus pointed to a red-hot iron block on the forging table. "Hammer it, and use all your strength with every strike."
I'll be watching you closely, so don't slack off!
"This, that's it?" Aaron asked in astonishment. "Isn't this too irresponsible? What's the difference between this and letting them roam freely?"
"Didn't I give you a booklet? That's a treasure trove of information I've compiled!"
Do you expect me to teach you how to hold a hammer? And how to use force effectively?
Shouldn't it?
"That's what Muggle are supposed to do, we're Warlock."
For Warlock blacksmiths, this is just a transitional phase, equivalent to the first lesson or self-study session.
It has a certain sense of ritual, but it doesn't really mean much, you understand?
Aaron nodded as if he understood, said nothing more, and swung the Hammer, striking the ground again and again.
Argus then went to Jeans, picked up Abei, and rubbed its head with interest. "Why didn't I encounter such an interesting creature when I was alive?"
Abei struggled violently, but in front of a Grand Archmage, it was just an ordinary little chick, completely powerless to resist.
"This is Young Master Aaron's exclusive pet, and his wife and he love it very much."
"She is quite cute," Argus said. "Not only cute, but also powerful. This generation's heir will have good companions."
Hearing this, Abei laughed sheepishly, and her struggles lessened.
"It seems he is still loyal."
Abei laughed even more happily, looking like she wouldn't be happy even if you praised her.
Aaron, who was wielding Hammer, felt a pang of regret upon seeing this scene. He should have given the Dragon Cub a Egg School back then.
Two hours later, Aaron, exhausted from wielding the hammer over a thousand times, arrived at the No. 1 Secret Chamber.
Mol looked at Aaron's trembling hands with a very serious expression and said with some regret, "I originally planned to teach you dissection. I even prepared the corpses for you. But things didn't go as planned."
Aaron:...
Argus Ancestor, for turning misfortune into blessing and escaping a calamity!
"But it's okay, we can just watch from the sidelines!"
At least it will improve your mental fortitude.
"Um... young master, I'll go to the next Secret Chamber and wait for you." Jeans swallowed and quickened his pace toward the third Secret Chamber.
Abei followed closely behind, and halfway there he started running. After a few steps, he spread his wings and quickly flew inside.
"Traitor! You have no loyalty!"
"If you're going to run away, at least take me with you!"
"What did you say?"
"Nothing?"
Mol didn't seem bothered. With a calm expression, he picked up the craniotomy instrument and pointed it at the head of the corpse on the operating table. "This is a lesson you must learn, and it will be very meaningful."
Only by seeing it with your own eyes can you remain calm even when Mount Tai collapses before you, and you will be able to take it in stride even if you see a real mountain of corpses and a sea of blood in the future.
So, don't even blink.
Blood gushed from Yin Hong's head.
Aaron swallowed hard, then turned around and vomited violently.
"Tsk! This year's class is really hard to manage!"
An hour later, Aaron walked tremblingly toward the third Secret Chamber.
Only he himself knows what he just went through; his skin, blood, bones, and internal organs were all presented to him from the outside in.
When the last blood-soaked human skeleton was placed on the shelf, he could no longer hold on, his vision went black, and he collapsed to the ground.
He didn't know how Mol managed to dissect a corpse completely in an hour, but he truly understood all the structures of the human body.
Moreover, he was 100% certain that he would have a poor appetite and be unable to eat for the next week or two.
"Young Master, are you alright?" Jeans asked anxiously.
"Hmph! Do I look like I'm alright?"
I don't need to look in a mirror to know how pale I am.
"Young Master, I've seen that scene once before, and I don't want to see it a second time."
Abei: "Waaah..."
I'm worried that if I leave my penis there, he won't be able to resist cutting me open.
"Fine, you're both right. So you think you can ignore me just because you're right?"
"No!" Jeans immediately took out a bottle of medicine. "A special Calming Draught, it will be good for you, young master."
The clan chief drank this Potions, and the next day he had a perfectly good appetite.
"At least you have a conscience." Aaron rolled his eyes at him, grabbed the Calming Draught, and downed it in one gulp.
To be honest, after drinking it, I felt refreshed and my legs stopped shaking. My mental state improved a lot, but I still felt lingering fear when I thought about the bloody scene just now.
Abei, trying to ingratiate herself, pulled out a green apple, saying, "It's very sweet."
"Hmph!" Aaron turned his face away, but still picked up the apple, took a bite with some displeasure, and then looked at the room full of musical instruments. He couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief, "Finally, there's a normal one. I'll go over and summon Ancestor Vaughn now."
"Young Master, wait!" Jeans hurriedly stopped him. "Young Master, you've forgotten, music lessons are every three days. I scheduled this class on the third day on your timetable, so..."
"So... you did this on purpose?"
"How could that be? I stayed up all night to put together a perfect schedule."
As Jeans spoke, he took out a—no, to be precise, a long timetable from his pocket, which clearly arranged everything from today until the day before Aaron's first day of school.
Aaron's lips twitched, he covered his face with one hand, on the verge of tears. "You're so mean!"
"Young Master," Jeans hesitated for a moment before finally uttering, "It's the truth, you have to accept it."
"Damn it!" Aaron rolled his eyes. "The next class is about Magic Array, right?"
"Yes, Weihert's lesson."
Two hours later, we can start preparing lunch.
Aaron smiled silently and walked straight to the next door. He passed through several doors and arrived at a Secret Chamber filled with Magic Array.
Weihert stepped out of the stone pillar the instant he entered, looking at him with a smile on his face.
"You, this, teacher, how did you get out?"
"I am different from others. All the Magic Array here are my eyes. As long as someone with the same bloodline comes, I can awaken at any time," Weihert said. "In the first lesson, what you have to do is look at one of the Magic Array and engrave it deeply into your mind."
"Should I say that you're being so irritating?"
"If you can't do it, I can help you."
After knocking them unconscious, entering their dream world will definitely enhance the effect significantly.
"There's no need for that," Aaron said immediately, then looked at the dense array of magic circles on the wall and decided to choose the simplest one.
But as soon as he calmed down, everything went black before his eyes. Before he lost consciousness, he vaguely saw the smiling face of his ancestor.
