A Small Goal for the Next Six Months
Aaron took a deep breath, placed an order for the Disillusionment Charm, and spent 100 Magic Points to acquire this spell that could make one invisible.
Another empty space appeared in the Magic Category item list, but as Aaron pondered the principles and applications of the Disillusionment Charm in his mind, he couldn't help but chuckle.
From today onwards, invisibility will no longer be limited by the amount of Invisibility Potion; he can become invisible whenever he wants. This magic will provide him with considerable convenience in his future life.
Aaron was also very tempted by the "Thought Form" skill, but the four-figure price tag was several times his current assets.
This is the pain of being broke: wanting something but only being able to look at it without being able to buy it.
However, everything in the mall is clearly priced and there's no expiration date; what's meant for him will eventually be his.
Aaron silently cheered himself up and made plans to accumulate capital.
School starts in a couple of days. Signing up at Hogwarts for a day earns ten Magic Points. As long as you sign up diligently and resist the urge to spend money, you can achieve a small goal in half a day.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A knock came at the door, and Dobby asked Dobby nervously, "Sir, may I come in?"
"Come in!"
Dobby pushed a small cart into the room and placed the seven or eight plates on the table.
"This is your and your pet's dinner. Are you satisfied?"
If it's not enough, I'll prepare more.
Abei looked at Aaron, hesitated for a moment, and then silently raised a paw: Can we double it again?
Aaron's lips twitched, and he decisively rejected this shameless request.
This isn't his own home. If he really ate that much Lucius and Narcissa would find it hard not to notice the problem. He didn't want more people to know that he was raising a dragon.
"No need, I'm very satisfied."
You can go now! I'll clean up tomorrow after I leave.
"Okay, Dobby will leave now." The House Elf said politely, silently leaving the room and gently closing the door behind him.
"Don't wait any longer, it's just the two of us here." Aaron patted Abei's head. "Eat whatever you want, don't be so reserved."
Abei paused for a moment, then quickly jumped onto the table, grabbed a piece of meat, and put it in his mouth.
After finishing a plate, Abei smacked his lips in satisfaction, but then glanced at Aaron with a hint of guilt.
Seeing that its owner didn't say anything, it let loose and sat on the table, eating like a starving beast.
There were eight plates in total, but Aaron was given only two, and the rest were eaten clean.
"You really don't hold back. I can't expect you to be anything special when it comes to eating." Aaron said, laughing and crying at the same time. He pulled Abei aside, used magic to clean the table, and then picked up his fork and began to eat elegantly.
On the first day, Aaron opened his eyes and slowly sat up in bed.
Looking at the sunlight outside, he sighed as he woke up, then lazily stretched, "Another hopeful day, yay."
"Congratulations, host, you have gained one Magic Points."
"It's better than nothing! I'm one small step closer to my goal," Aaron murmured, somewhat prepared for the number.
He carried Abei out of the room and saw Dobby waiting for him there.
What are you doing here? Is something the matter?
"This is my master's command," Dobby explained. "My master instructed me to stay here so that I can serve our esteemed guest at any time."
Aaron frowned. "How long have you been here?"
"I've been here since around 10 p. m. last night."
"But please rest assured, sir, I did not do anything impolite."
"Heh! Should I believe what you're saying?" Aaron pretended to be deep in thought. "House-elf who intercepts other people's letters has been guarding my door all night. Just thinking about it is terrifying."
"Sir, I..." Dobby's eyes Dobby tears as he looked at the wall and had the thought that his head was unusually hard.
"Alright, just kidding, I believe you."
However, please don't do this again. I don't like having strangers guarding the door while I sleep.
"But, but this is the master's order. Dobby is just House-elf and can only obey."
Upon hearing this, Aaron sighed and shook his head, speechless. "Fine! Then I, as your guest, hope you won't stand guard at the guest's door anymore. Can you make some noodles?"
"Sure," Dobby said excitedly. "No problem."
"Is Draco up yet?"
"Young Master is up. He said you need to rest and doesn't want me to disturb you."
"Understood," Aaron said, then went downstairs.
Dobby went into the room, pushed the trolley out, and prepared to wash the dishes.
Upon entering the lobby, Draco greeted him with a smile, "Good morning. Looks like you slept well last night. You've never gotten up this late at school."
"Indeed, this sleep was exceptionally comfortable."
Draco noticed that Aaron seemed much better than yesterday, especially with an uncontrollable smile on his face, and couldn't help but ask curiously, "You seem particularly happy, did you have a wonderful dream?"
"No," Aaron waved his hand sheepishly. "I just set myself a small goal that will last for six months."
"Six months? A small goal?"
"It's a secret, so don't ask."
Draco rolled his eyes, speechless; he hadn't intended to ask anyway.
"Now that you're awake," Draco said, walking to the corner and excitedly picking up the Nimbus 2001 from the shelf. "Then let's get to training right away."
"Now?
"Isn't it inappropriate to train so early in the morning?"
"There's nothing inappropriate about it. It's already eight o'clock."
"Besides, you have so many tutoring classes during the holidays, your training time must have started much earlier than mine!" Draco said seriously.
Actually, he doesn't usually go to Quidditch training early in the morning, so sleeping in a little longer during holidays is no big deal.
But the situation is different now. Yesterday's training made him clearly feel a huge improvement, and his father, Lucius, also told him to seize the opportunity.
With only two days left before school starts, it's a pipe dream to expect Aaron to help with training once we get back to Hogwarts.
Moreover, Aaron has left home, and who knows when his family will come looking for him, so Draco needs to make the most of this training time.
"But..." Aaron frowned, "I haven't had breakfast yet!"
"It's alright, I've prepared it for you." Draco seemed to have expected this, and smugly opened a food box on the table. "After all, he's a guest, Malfoy wouldn't let a guest help on an empty stomach."
"It's perfect that you have a Magic Carpet. You can even exercise and aid digestion while eating, saving you a lot of trouble."
Aaron looked inside and saw that the box contained bacon, sandwiches, fried eggs, sausages, and two cartons of milk.
"You've prepared enough money!"
"And there's more." Draco pulled another box from under the table, inside which was a large piece of roasted meat, weighing at least several pounds.
"This is for Abei. There's also freshly squeezed rice juice at the bottom of the box."
A white streak darted past with a whoosh. Abei sniffed the food box, then gave Draco a knowing look, before slapping his paws together repeatedly.
Aaron's lips twitched slightly as he compared his breakfast with Abei's, and for some reason, he felt a little heartbroken.
He could understand that a human was inferior to a dragon, but he could not accept that a master was inferior to a pet.
"Cough cough!"
"Well, Abei's been on a diet lately, you're just helping it make a mistake."
"What?" Draco frowned, looking somewhat troubled.
Looking down, Abei was clinging tightly to the food box, refusing to let go, and his expression had become extremely serious, as if to say, "If you dare to open your mouth, I'll bite you to death."
"Haha! It's okay to treat yourself to something once in a while!"
Aaron smiled meaningfully, reached out and picked up Abei, ignoring its struggles, and casually switched the two lunch boxes.
"Now there's no problem."
Draco's lips twitched slightly, but he made no comment.
Quickly, the two people and the dragon appeared in the sky above Malfoy Manor.
Draco diligently searches for the Golden Snitch amidst the chaotic collisions of the Quaffle and the Mirage Ball.
Aaron leisurely sipped his juices and ate roasted meat on the Magic Carpet, while Abei looked utterly dejected as he munched on a sandwich, his big eyes fixed on Aaron's food box, which should have been his.
Meanwhile, in Gaius Beverage Shop Diagon Alley, Jeans looked at his six men with a worried expression.
"It's been a day, everyone."
We searched all day, but all we know is that the young master left from the Leaky Cauldron, and we haven't found any clues since. Isn't this a bit too inefficient?
"Boss, we've done our best," the bespectacled man said. "We've searched all the Gaius Family's friends, but the young master isn't at their house."
We asked around in Muggle world hotels, train stations, and even ordinary shops and roadside stalls.
Logically, the young master should have left with five hundred pounds. Spending money would leave some trace, but unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have spent a single penny after leaving. I strongly suspect this is the young master trying to mislead us.
"Fine, but that only proves our incompetence," Jeans said bluntly.
"But we've sealed off a hundred strongholds nearby, and there are no clues," Anna said. "Unless the young master is hiding in the sewers."
"That's impossible." Jeans immediately dismissed the guess. "It's just leaving home, not running for your life. There's no need to go to such extremes."
"Wait!" Jeans suddenly realized something. "Since both above-ground and underground routes have been ruled out, the only possible route for the young master is probably in the sky."
