No Guts, Yet You Dare to Rob People
"But..." the old witch stammered, trying to raise the price, "We lost at least two people because of this shipment..."
"What does that have to do with me?" Pear's face immediately darkened. "You people don't care about this. If you're not satisfied, turn left and leave. I don't need any more kids here."
Upon hearing this, the old witch gritted her teeth and said, "Fine, five hundred it is."
Pear chuckled dismissively. "That's more like it!"
"Wait a moment," Aaron interrupted their conversation. "I'm not entirely satisfied."
"You have no right to speak here," the old witch said viciously. "You don't really think I'm going to take you home, do you? How naive, child."
However, you should thank me for bringing you here. At least you still have a chance to live. You should know that there are shops in Knockturn Alley that specialize in collecting human organs, and the fresher the organ, the more valuable it is.
Your eyes and skin are worth 300 Galleon, and with your blood, organs, and bones, selling them for 1,000 Galleon wouldn't be a problem.
"Come on! If it were that easy to make money, you wouldn't have brought me here." Aaron picked at his ear. "But I do have to thank you for helping me get rid of that guy."
I've only been to Knockturn Alley a few times, and I was just hoping to try my luck, but you guys just happened to appear in front of me and led the way to me in record time.
The old witch stared blankly at him, a strange sense of dread creeping into her heart.
This doesn't seem like a harmless child at all; it's clearly a wolf in sheep's clothing!
Who exactly are you?
"No, that's not it. What you need is your fate." Aaron's lips curled into a slight smile, then he looked at Pear with interest. "Excuse me for asking, how much is this old codger worth?"
"You..."
The old witch's eyes were bloodshot, and she pointed a trembling finger at Aaron, wishing she could strangle him on the spot.
She'd been in this business for decades, and this was the first time she'd ever encountered something this outrageous—they dared to sell her, a human trafficker, when they were about to sell the goods.
"What do you mean, 'you'?" Aaron said confidently. "There doesn't seem to be a rule that I can't sell to you!"
"Boss, the quality of this batch is a bit poor. Just give me whatever you think is best."
Pear burst into laughter, which attracted dozens of Dark Wizard nearby.
Their gazes were cold, their faces filled with curiosity and amusement.
"Interesting, very interesting." Pear praised Aaron without reservation, "As long as you don't die, you will definitely be a big shot in the future."
"Thank you for the compliment; many people think so."
Pear shook his head. "Mochila is already seventy years old this year. He is covered in hidden injuries and diseases, and his strength is average. No one would want him as a slave. He's not worth much money, at most ten Galleon."
"Pear!" the old witch roared angrily, "Are you trying to break the rules?"
"Of course not. Everyone knows my reputation, otherwise this auction house wouldn't have existed for so long."
"The current situation is that you two could both be sellers, which puts me in a difficult position!" Pear sneered. "You don't even have anyone to submit to, and you have the nerve to come looking for me."
Mochila cursed inwardly, glaring fiercely at Aaron. He should have knocked the kid out before he arrived.
"What's your name?" Pear asked.
"Severus," Aaron said without batting an eye, "Severus Snape."
"Severus, I'm giving you two choices."
One option is to honestly accept your fate; if you're lucky, you can live out the rest of your life peacefully...
"I choose the second one," Aaron said immediately.
"The second option is to fight Mochila. Whoever wins will decide the fate of the other person."
Mochila gave a cold laugh. "With pleasure."
Aaron shrugged. "It seems I don't have a choice."
The Warlock in the auction house were all in high spirits and consciously made room for them.
Pear immediately cleared his table and laid out a red blanket to make a makeshift gambling table. "Everyone, if you want to place your bets, do it quickly, or you'll miss your chance."
"I bet Mochila, ten Galleon." A gloomy-faced old Warlock slammed a handful of gold coins on the table.
This seemed to be a good start, and a group of Warlock couldn't wait to Galleon their Galleons into their pockets; Sickle and even Knut placed theirs on the gambling table.
Most people bet on Mochila to win, while only seven or Sickle on Aaron and a few on Knut, but none on Galleon. This is only because the odds were high for Galon, and people wanted to try their luck.
To the Warlock present, the outcome of the bet was a foregone conclusion. Although Mochila was old and not very strong, he could still easily handle a child.
"They really have no taste," Aaron muttered.
"That's normal, Severus," Pear said. "You'd better do me a favor! If you lose, you'll not only lose the rest of your life, but you'll also make me lose money."
Aaron rolled his eyes, calmly walked to the gambling table, and took out a money bag from his pocket. "I only brought 120 Gold Galleons, and I'm betting them all on myself."
"Ten times the payout! If you win, you'll make ten times your initial investment. This kind of deal doesn't come around often."
Mochila gritted his teeth, making a 'clucking' sound, and the anger in his eyes almost materialized.
She regretted it. Before bringing Aaron over, besides knocking him unconscious, she should have searched his body. More than a hundred Gold Galleons were gone just like that.
Pear paused for a moment, then clapped his hands. "That's really interesting, but if I were you, I wouldn't say so much. There aren't many good people around me."
Aaron glanced thoughtfully at the group of Warlock, his eyes gleaming with undisguised greed. "I think I'm safe at the auction house, right?"
"Not necessarily," Pear poured cold water on his enthusiasm. "You're still just a kid."
"I understand." Aaron wasn't afraid at all; on the contrary, he smiled and seemed quite happy.
He drew his Wand and stood opposite the old witch Mochila. "Those who sell others will always be sold. Although you are not even a fraction of what I have, a mosquito is still meat, isn't it?"
"Go to hell."
Mochila waved his Wand, and a pale blue light shone on Aaron.
Upon seeing this, Aaron's eyes flashed with disdain.
He had initially thought that this old witch was at least a Archmage, and that it would take some time to deal with her. However, it now seemed that she was only a novice Magus, and her combat experience was exceptionally poor.
But thinking about it, it makes sense. If he had the ability, he wouldn't be doing so badly.
Aaron cast an Iron Armor Charm on himself and calmly charged into it.
The cyan light cluster and the transparent barrier collided and canceled each other out.
"This... is impossible." Mochila was incredulous. In her mind, she should have ended the fight in one move, or at the very least severely injured the child. There should never have been a situation where they were evenly matched.
The other Warlock stared in astonishment at Aaron, and Pear's pupils widened slightly; ' Severus Snape's ' talent was even greater than he had imagined.
"Old witch, seeing is believing!" Aaron said meaningfully, then lightly tapped his chest with his Wand, and his whole body became transparent.
"Disillusionment Charm".
Mochila's face was grim as he cautiously and warily surveyed his surroundings.
The next moment, a ball of white light shot out from behind her, and she was blasted several meters away before landing on the ground.
Aaron deactivated his invisibility and quickly walked up to her, testing a spell he had learned recently.
"Cruciatus Curse."
"Ah!"
A piercing scream echoed through the auction house, sending chills down the spines of the dozens of Dark Wizard around.
They naturally understood the Unforgivable Curses, and they were surprised that a small child could use such a spell. More importantly, he acted very naturally, without the slightest discomfort.
This is a ruthless character, absolutely a ruthless character.
Many people have put aside their ulterior motives. They originally thought they could be the Mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind, but now it seems the oriole is not so lucky after all!
"You dare to sell me out? Are you blind?!" Aaron kicked her twice, and with each swing of his Wand, Mochila slammed heavily against the ground.
Aaron stopped casting the spell only when he could see obvious bloodstains on the ground.
"Severus, you damned bastard!" Mochila gritted his teeth, red blood seeping from his yellowed teeth.
"Still not convinced?" Aaron sneered, flicking his Wand to knock her Wand away, then aimed at her body and delivered another Cruciatus Curse.
"Ah!"
Soon the old witch's eyes rolled back, and she fainted.
"What a pity, I thought she could hold on a little longer!" Aaron shook his head with regret, then used Transfiguration to make a rope and tied her up like a dumpling, and thoughtfully tied a knot that was impossible to untie.
The skilled and professional technique left the onlookers questioning their own existence—was this really a child?
"You win," Pear said, then took ten Galleon from his pocket. "This is her worth."
"And there's more!"
Pear sighed, first paying off the two Warlock coins that Aaron had won, then taking out a money bag from the drawer and putting all the gambling money on the table into it. "This should be enough."
"Boy, hand over the money." A one-eyed Warlock stepped forward, his eyes greedily fixed on the cloth bag in Aaron's hand.
"Sigh! In the end, some people are willing to risk their lives for money!" Aaron sighed. "It's not that I underestimate you, but are you sure you can beat me?"
"Unsure, perhaps..."
Before the words were even finished, several more Warlock stood up, and other fence-sitters joined in, creating an unprecedented unity among the Dark Wizard.
"Hehe!" Aaron said calmly, "No one can take my money."
"We outnumber you," the one-eyed Warlock laughed arrogantly. "Do you want to fight all of us?"
"No, I'm not that stupid." Aaron simply put the bag on the table. "However... I swear on the honor of the Snape family, whoever makes the first move, I will fight him to the death."
I don't need the money, but even if I die, I'll drag the first person to see Merlin with me.
Would you like to try it?
The one-eyed Warlock's lips twitched slightly, and he couldn't help but swallow.
The others looked at each other, no longer so aggressive.
Whether ' Severus ' will keep his word is unclear to them, but it is undeniable that in a one-on-one fight he does indeed have the ability to kill eight enemies while losing a thousand of his own.
They were indeed numerous and powerful, but they also knew each other very well. Everyone wanted the money, and no one wanted to be the first. They weren't worried about ' Severus's' targeted retaliation; how much power could a teenager pose to them? Besides, the others weren't pushovers either. If they were to be nearly killed, they'd probably be devoured by the other Dark Wizard without a trace.
Furthermore, even if an idiot were to become the first person, how much could the remaining dozens of people possibly get even if they received the bag?
They're not stupid. This isn't like robbing Gringotts; it's not worth the risk for such a small amount of money.
"Tch!" Aaron swept his gaze around with disdain. "If you don't even have this much guts, don't try to rob people."
