Pear didn't care about those who were unconscious or lying on the ground groaning helplessly, but seeing his place turned into ruins, his heart ached terribly.

The Repair Charm isn't omnipotent; restoring it to its original state after it's been destroyed like this would require a great deal of effort. But he dared not show the slightest hint of complaint, and instead, he wisely took out the Demon Sealing Ring.

Having witnessed everything that had just happened, he realized that this person was probably not just Archmage Peak, but a genuine Grand Archmage, someone he couldn't afford to offend.

"You're not entirely naive." Jeans found a chair and sat down. "Do you know why your treatment is different from theirs?"

"Because I never intended to kill them," Pear said confidently. He was also extremely grateful that he hadn't shown any killing intent when he fought Jeans, but he probably would have fared even worse than them, since he was the only one among them who could pose a threat to the Grand Archmage.

"I like talking to smart people because things become much easier," Jeans chuckled. "So... Mr. Pear, you know what to do next!"

Pear nodded. "Let's handle the aftermath!"

Essentially, he is also a Dark Wizard. Unlike Muggle, he doesn't need to follow so many rules when doing things. He can easily and quickly use a Oblivion Charm.

"Sir, is he really... your young master?"

"Obviously." Jeans sighed somewhat dejectedly. "He's going through a rebellious phase; this is the second time he's run away from home."

Pear's lips twitched as images of Severus entering the auction house flashed through his mind, and he felt an urge to curse, his face turning particularly ugly.

"Mr. Pear, are you feeling unwell?"

"My lord, I may know of Master Severus's plans."

"Severus... young master?"

"So that's how it is!" Jeans' lips curled into a smile. He had thought Snape was meddling, but now it seemed that the young master had unkindly borrowed his teacher's name.

Upon seeing this, a bitter expression appeared on Pear's face, clearly indicating that the other party was not using their real name.

But he dared not mention it, much less ask about it; a family that could command a Grand Archmage was not one he could casually inquire about.

Jeans skillfully pulled out his notebook and a pen, eagerly preparing to take notes. "Tell me about it."

"Yes!" Pear said respectfully, "Young Master, have the traffickers lead the way to me, and then find a way to attract our attention."

I set up a wager, pitting the young master against Mochila, that damned human trafficker, in a draw.

He succeeded, and incidentally won money from almost everyone here.

Logically speaking, a child with so much money shouldn't be able to leave Knockturn Alley, but he made a deal with me using the Demon Sealing Ring, asking me to protect him and, incidentally, stop you.

"But you failed," Jeans said with amusement. "Some things are not for you to covet."

"That was exactly what he planned. He knew I would fail, knew I couldn't possibly obtain this magical artifact, so he gave it to me very readily." Pear smiled bitterly. "After that, he took out all the money he had to win people's hearts and tie dozens of Warlock to his chariot... and then you appeared."

"Young Master has grown up!" Jeans said with some relief. "If the head of the family and his wife knew this, they would feel a little more at ease."

"Um... sir, young master ' Severus ' has only been gone a few minutes, you see..."

"What? You want to kick me out?" Jeans asked with a half-smile.

"No, no, no, I wouldn't dare, I absolutely didn't mean that," Pear immediately said. "I meant that if we chase after them now, it might still be in time."

"Don't worry, one accident is enough, there will never be a second time."

"Just focus on handling the matter at hand. After you're done, I'll cast a Oblivion Charm on you and then leave."

Pear:...

"But the commotion just now was too loud; I'm sure many people have already noticed it."

"Someone will handle this. After all, this is an indoor duel, and no one will see it," Jeans said, then rolled up his sleeves and tapped the area lightly with his Wand.

The Gaius emblem on his arm shimmered slightly before disappearing beneath his skin.

The two guards who were secretly following Aaron, Number Three Modo and Number Four Dika, felt the warmth coming from his arm and immediately understood Jeans's order.

Protect the young master, persuade him to go home in a secluded place, and if that doesn't work, tie him up and bring him back.

The two looked at each other, both seeing excitement and frustration in each other's eyes.

He was excited because he could finally get revenge, but frustrated because this job was difficult; if he got rough with the young master, he would inevitably make a fuss about it in his little notebook.

They strongly suspected that Jeans had deliberately assigned this task to them, since capturing a Magus would be a piece of cake for him, Grand Archmage.

"Let's do it!" Modo's eyes hardened. "As the saying goes, rank matters. We're just following orders."

"This is the only way. I hope the young master won't make things difficult for us!"

Aaron, carrying Abei, returned to Diagon Alley via the same route and skillfully made his way to the Leaky Cauldron.

"What a rare guest! Aaron, would you like something to drink?" Tom asked as he wiped the glass.

"Vodka, I did something big today, I need to drink something strong to calm my nerves."

"As for the money... I just ran out, but someone will pay for it for you." Aaron said casually, his gaze inadvertently glancing at the shadows where the two guards were hiding: Your young master is out of money, you know what to do, right?

"They really know how to have fun!" Modo said speechlessly. "But it's a wonder they even noticed us."

"After all, protecting him has become somewhat difficult, and with his significant improvement in strength, it's quite normal for him to be able to sense us familiar faces."

"But it's a bit... unreasonable" Dika shook his head with a wry smile. "We were clearly in charge of bringing him back, so we should be the ones in control. It's a shame we have to foot the bill for his expenses. We'll have to go back to the boss for reimbursement."

Forget it!

"We're not so poor that we can't even afford a drink, let alone our own young master." As he spoke, Modo took a Gold Galleons from his pocket and Silencio placed it on Sam's counter.

Tom, who had just poured Aaron a drink, saw the gleaming golden Galleon and immediately smiled as he put it away. "Gaius, do you need anything else?"

"Um..." Aaron for a moment, then picked up two empty glasses from the table. "Then let's pour two more glasses! I might not be the only one having a big celebration today."

Modo and Dika exchanged a smile. The young master is still quite considerate!

Although they had made preparations, drinking alcohol to embolden the cowardly was a good idea before taking action.

After finishing his drink, Aaron swaggered out of the Leaky Cauldron and entered the world of Muggle.

Tom was about to put away the wine glass when he noticed that the other two glasses were already empty, which also puzzled him.

Aaron led Abei around the bustling streets and stopped at an abandoned construction site.

"You two are really persistent!"

"You've been following me for so long, it's time you came out and stretched!" Aaron looked at the two shadows in the open space, his mind on high alert.

This is the second hurdle to overcome when fleeing, and also the most difficult one.

If you get through it, the sea is wide enough for fish to leap and the sky is high enough for birds to fly; if you don't get through it, all your previous efforts will be in vain, and you'll have to go home and accept your fate.

Although these two guards were weaker than Jeans, Aaron was not confident of winning even in a one-on-one fight. Moreover, they always stayed in the shadows and would not easily show themselves unless he encountered danger. They were much more difficult to deal with than the Butler who was in charge of taking care of him.

A few seconds later, two figures emerged from the shadows.

"Would you like to introduce yourselves?" Aaron looked at the two men in their twenties in front of him, appearing particularly excited. "This is the first time I've ever met you two in my entire life."

"Modo, 23 years old, High-level Archmage."

"Dika, 24 years old, High-level Archmage, slightly stronger than Modo."

"That's really concise."

Aaron found a cement cylinder and sat on it, trying to make himself as high up as possible to show off his authority as the young master.

"I believe you understand my purpose, and I am certain that the Butler has given you some kind of order, otherwise you would not have come out to see me."

"Young master, please understand," Dika said. "We're just here to persuade you to go home."

"I will go back, but not now," Aaron explained. "I need some time to process some things, so... please go back!"

"Young master, please don't make things difficult for us. After all, Lord Jeans is our superior."

"I'm still his young master!" Aaron curled his lip. "I'm also your young master, so can't you give me some face?"

The two exchanged a glance and shook their heads in unison.

"Stubborn as a mule!" Aaron shook his head, rubbing his forehead. "Then I, as your young master, will order you to go back. Is that alright?"

"No." Modo said directly, "The six of us only obey the orders of the head of the family and the Butler. Young master, you can't order us around for the time being."

"Gentlemen, leave some room for maneuver!"

Are you sure you want to offend me? What will happen to you in the end?

"Even without a place to go, we can still distinguish between dying early and dying late."

"Great!" Aaron gritted his teeth. "If I don't go back, are you two going to drag me back?"

"We wouldn't dare. At most, we'll respectfully invite you back, young master."

Aaron:...

That word "please" was used brilliantly!

If you pull out the magic wand, the word "please" is in quotation marks.

"Sigh! It seems we can't reach an agreement." Aaron jumped off the cement cylinder with some regret, then solemnly bowed to the two of them.

The sudden action surprised and flattered Modo and Dika, who even instinctively tried to stop it, their hands holding the Wand trembling slightly.

Aaron raised his head, looked directly into their eyes, and smiled, "Although it might be unpleasant after a while, I am still very grateful for your protection."

"Young master, you're too kind," Modo said with emotion. "It's our duty, and we've already missed one trip already."

"We won't allow that to happen a second time, so we have to get you back today no matter what." Dika's eyes were firm. "If you want to punish us, you can discuss it with Boss Jeans when we get back."

Aaron looked at the two of them with a complicated expression, and took out his Wand. "I knew this day would come two years ago, but I didn't expect it to come so soon."
