As dawn broke, the residents of Long Lake Town, fleeing the disaster, struggled to reach the shore.

The sounds of wailing filled the air. Last night's battle had made things even worse for the already impoverished residents, with some even losing their homes and families.

Last night, after the evil dragon came, the whole town turned into a sea of fire. Those with boats escaped by boat, while those without boats swam in the icy lake all night before helping each other ashore.

"It's shocking!" Aaron exclaimed, then looked at the Bard family. "What are your plans now?"

Bard forced a smile. "I can't abandon them."

Aaron nodded slightly. "I believe you will lead these refugees to develop the area."

However, before that, you have to get through this hurdle first.

Wealth can be obtained from Thorin, but food and shelter will likely be a problem for us to find ourselves.

"Aaron, Kili, we should go," Bofur called out. He and Bifur pushed a wooden boat into the river, preparing to set off for Erebor.

Aaron patted Bard on the shoulder, then handed Bain a Black Arrow. "I have to go. You can keep this as a family heirloom."

Kili walked towards the shore, but suddenly stopped and turned back to Tauriel. "Come with me!"

I know my heart, I'm not afraid, I can't live without you.

Tauriel, I love you.

A heartfelt confession caught Tauriel, an elf who had lived for hundreds of years, completely off guard. She did have some affection for Kili, but it was still a little short of love.

"I don't know what you're talking about?"

"I think you know," Kili said with a smile.

Just as Tauriel was about to say something, he noticed a pair of eyes watching him from behind. "Prince Legolas."

"Leave that dwarf! You have your own mission."

Tauriel was silent for a moment, then slowly turned around.

Kili glared angrily at Legolas.

He finally got to this point, why did you have to come and spoil the mood?

However, he did not stop Tauriel. Elves have their mission, and dwarves have their goals.

After walking a few steps, Kili turned back and gave the black stone that his father had given him as a token to Tauriel.

It wasn't until the afternoon that the group arrived in Erebor.

Bilbo led the four through the City Gate, then asked with a hint of anxiety, "Where is Gandalf?"

"Heh!" Aaron chuckled. "I already told you that it wasn't Gandalf who fought the dragon, why don't you believe me!"

"That's troublesome," Bilbo said wearily. "Thorin has changed. Do you remember what Smaug said? You really shouldn't have given him the Arkenstone."

"What do you mean?" Kili asked, puzzled. "The Arkenstone belongs to the dwarves, and Thorin is Thrain's son, the most legitimate heir. Why can't it be given to him?"

"Because that thing is too strange." Bilbo pointed helplessly to the entrance of the hall. "He stayed down there for a whole day, without eating or drinking."

Aaron frowned slightly. "Let's go take a look first!"

Upon entering the main hall, the golden hues immediately caught their eye, and the three newly arrived dwarves were astonished by the immense wealth.

"Gold, countless gold, no more sorrow and pain." Thorin murmured as he stepped down from the throne inlaid with Arkenstone. He looked at the group, a hint of madness in his eyes. "Behold, Thor's vast treasure."

Welcome to Erebor, my nephew, friends, and relatives.

"You see," Bilbo said helplessly, shrugging. "I feel like his world consists only of gold."

Aaron's eye twitched slightly; Thorin did indeed seem a little off.

"Give him some time, he'll recover."

"Is this something that time can solve?" Bilbo said speechlessly. "We have to find a way to get him out of here, otherwise I'm really worried that he'll become arrogant and disdainful of everyone, just like Smaug said."

Aaron sighed and turned to Thorin. "The Dwarf King's duty is to build Erebor, not to admire these so-called riches here."

"Give me some time, Gaius."

I've waited decades for this day; it's time to taste the fruits of victory.

Aaron pursed his lips and silently left the hall.

Bilbo led the group to the room where the others were resting. The two groups of dwarves cheered excitedly when they saw that their companions were all alive and well.

"We have to bring Gandalf back; only he can guide Thorin back to the right path," Bilbo said, pulling Aaron aside and lowering his voice. "Smaug also said that the necromancers will send troops to attack Lonely Mountain, so we are not safe."

"That's not all," Aaron said thoughtfully. "Smaug is dead, and that news will soon spread. A huge treasure is attractive to anyone, and this Dwarf Kingdom is more dangerous than ever."

"Then what should we do?"

"Find me a room first."

"Huh?" Bilbo blinked, looking at Aaron with a somewhat blank expression. "What did you say?"

"I've been fighting all day and traveling all day," Aaron rolled his eyes. "I need to rest, or I might die suddenly. Don't let anyone disturb me."

"What about Thorin?"

"Let's not worry about it for now." Aaron waved his hand. "You know how stubborn he is. No one can persuade him until he calms down."

As for the enemy, there's not too much to worry about; even attacking Erebor will take some time.

Bilbo nodded as if he understood, and then asked Balin to arrange a quiet room for Aaron.

"Scouring Charm."

Aaron locked the door and used Cleaning Charm to clean the room, which had been covered in dust for decades.

"System, Sign-in."

"Shu Sign-in at the Dwarf Kingdom and gained 5 Magic Points."

"Open your personal panel."

"Okay."

[Staying at the hotel: Aaron Gaius]

[Magical Energy: 8564 (Intermediate Archmage, the end point for most Warlock in their lifetime)]

[Talent: Once in a Century (Increases Magical Energy by 3 points daily)]

[Items: Moon Drop (can remove any negative spell), Resurrection Potion (can revive any creature that died within one hour), Magic Carpet, Dragon-Slaying Magic Crystal]

[Magic Points: 1010]

Looking at the final number, Aaron was filled with mixed emotions.

After more than half a year, my Magic Points have finally reached four digits. It was really not easy!

Taking a deep breath, Aaron suppressed his excitement and accepted the reward for killing Smaug. His Magic Points instantly doubled.

"It's been a long time since I've felt this wealthy." Aaron grinned, his joy genuine. All that hard work during this period had finally paid off.

"System, open the store, it's time to make a purchase."

"Good, stay overnight."

The system's voice rang in Aaron's mind, followed by three categories and ten product listings appearing before his eyes.

[Magic Category: Transfiguration (1000 Magic Points, including Animagus); @Flying (100 Magic Points, flight speed depends on individual skill); Illusion Projection (700 Magic Points, creates an illusion of oneself, can be projected over long distances); @Charm (500 Magic Points, literally meaning "charm," but ineffective against those with strong will); @Astral Out-of-Body Experience (300 Magic Points)]

[Material Category: Phoenix Feather (30 Magic Points); @Dragon Blood (20 Magic Points); Mandrake (5 Magic Points);]

Bezoar (1 Magic Points); @Rhinoceros Rhino Horn (3 Magic Points)

[Item Category: Blank; Blank; @Wizard Chess (1 Magic Points); @Gilani Gerrani's Emerald (50 Magic Points, the person who obtains the gem will be plagued by bad luck); Blank]

He had been craving the Transfiguration for a long time, especially after last night's battle. He had developed a strong desire for Animagus and decisively spent a thousand Magic Points to acquire it.

As a large amount of knowledge about Transfiguration was poured into his mind, Aaron felt his head was slightly heavy, but after a while, his face was filled with ecstatic joy.

He couldn't wait to try it, so he picked up his Wand and tapped the water glass lightly. In the blink of an eye, the ordinary glass turned into a Black Arrow.

Aaron carefully weighed it and found that it was no different from the original in terms of weight and material.

However, he knew that this Black Arrow was just a flawless counterfeit. It would be fine if it shot other things, but it probably wouldn't even be able to break through the dragon's armor to slay a dragon.

This can be considered a limitation of the Transfiguration; it can transform one object into another, but it cannot be a 100% transformation.

He can turn stones into exquisite gold ornaments, but these ornaments can only serve a decorative purpose and will not bring any health benefits to the human body.

But thinking about it, it makes sense. If one could truly change matter at will, the Magic World would have been in complete chaos long ago.

Aaron shrugged, turned the Black Arrow into a turtle, and watched it crawl on the table for a while with great interest before turning it back into a water glass.

After marveling at the wonder of the Transfiguration, Aaron began experimenting with the Animagus.

He tapped his arm with his Wand, and his figure quickly transformed into a raven.

A moment later, Aaron flapped his black wings and experienced the feeling of flying around the room before turning himself back.

As for the second type, Animagus, he didn't try it. This room couldn't possibly accommodate a giant dragon. Although he could transform into a dragon Dragon Cub less than half a meter long, there was absolutely no need for it.

"I'm quite the Transfiguration master now. Not to mention Professor McGonagall, even Dumbledore might not be as good as me in this regard," Aaron said smugly. Then he turned his attention to the Illusion Projection and readily spent seven hundred Magic Points to purchase it.

This is a profound illusion Illusion Magic. Although it has little offensive power, its cost-effectiveness is higher than that of a powerful magic spell.

Aaron snapped his fingers, and the room instantly transformed into his own bedroom. Abei then jumped out Accio happily around the ceiling.

But illusions are ultimately illusions; aside from being able to deceive the eye, they contain no truth whatsoever.

"I wonder when Yu will be able to go back, but it shouldn't be too long." Aaron muttered to himself, then added a thousand Magic Points to his Magical Energy, raising his strength from mid-level Archmage to High-level Archmage.

As for the remaining Magic Points, they can be saved to refresh the shop or used to upgrade Abei's strength.
