Outside the city wall of River Valley City.

The Thought Form was diligently killing orcs, blood dripping continuously from the Longsword in his hand. All around him were countless orc corpses, with severed limbs scattered everywhere.

"Eighty-seven, eighty-eight..." The Thought Form silently counted the number of enemies it had killed, its calmness tinged with a hint of excitement.

Jeans ' assessment of him was indeed correct; he could take on a hundred men single-handedly. However, now that his physique Dragon-Slaying Magic Crystal, that number could probably double.

The first wave of orcs attacking the city has been almost entirely wiped out, but more and more orcs are emerging from the caves to reinforce the city.

A mountain of corpses instilled a sense of fear in the newly arrived orc army, but instead of choosing to storm into River Valley City through other gaps, they tacitly decided to avenge their comrades.

The smoke and blood ignited the ferocity in every orc's bones, and almost simultaneously they all pounced on the Thought Form, like a dark tide surging forth.

The Thought Form was quickly surrounded, with enemies coming from all directions except for the city wall behind it.

"You really think highly of me!" Thought Form sneered, bracing his hands on his Longsword. Just as the orcs charged in, he took a deep breath and uttered, "Fire Dragon's Roar."

The crimson flames engulfed the surrounding black tide, leaving no blind spots untouched.

Large numbers of orcs let out screams of agony, some even turning to ashes in the flames before they could even react.

In an instant, the area around the Thought Form became a dead zone, which surprised even himself.

If the orcs were to spread out, this move might not be as effective; at most, it could only kill a dozen or so.

But since they chose to surround him, his body, with no blind spots, blocked the roar, more than doubling his score.

The Thought Form looked at the large, terrified orc army in front of it, raised its Longsword and snorted coldly, "Come on if you dare."

The sound wasn't loud, but it sounded like thunder to the orcs.

The orc leader glared at him angrily, then decisively abandoned that section of the wall and charged into River Valley City from another direction.

There was nothing that could be done; the corpses scattered on the ground were proof of this person's brutality.

Although they outnumbered him, they could definitely wear him down in a direct confrontation, but the cost was too high for them to bear.

Moreover, Azog's order was to capture the River Valley City. They would pick on the weak, so why would they bother with this tough nut? Wouldn't it be better to bully the people inside?

"Cut!"

The Thought Form curled its lip in disdain, but inwardly it breathed a sigh of relief.

His Magical Energy was still sufficient, but his physical strength had been greatly depleted. If he were to be attacked again, he would have no choice but to run away.

Moreover, a large number of orcs have already invaded River Valley City, so it makes no difference whether he defends it or not.

At this moment, the Thought Form suddenly heard a familiar scream, and couldn't help but frown.

"Tilda, Sigrid?"

The two names flashed through the mind of the Thought Form, which quickly Apparition the place where the voice came from.

A group of orcs charged out of the street, and a dozen or so old and weak people took their targets, including Sigrid and Tilda.

"Petrificus Totalus."

Seven or eight red orbs of light struck the group of orcs with pinpoint accuracy, causing them all to stiffen and collapse to the ground.

"Gaius." Sigrid immediately pulled her sister to the Thought Form. "It's so good to see you."

"What are you doing here?" Aaron asked with some concern. "Has the rest of the place been guarded?"

The two sisters exchanged a glance and nodded with difficulty.

"The orcs came in from all directions, except for this small area of Old Street, but I guess that's about it now," Sigrid said heavily. "River Valley City has fallen, and we don't even have weapons, so we can only flee for our lives."

Thought Form's eyes twitched slightly. He had thought that by holding half of the city wall, he could buy Bard time to arrange things inside the city, but now it seemed that he had underestimated the power of the orcs' attack.

"Bain." Tilda gripped the Thought Form's hand and said anxiously, "Gaius, Bain is still fighting the orcs to cover us. Please save him."

"I understand, I understand," the Thought Form immediately said. "But I know nothing about this city, you have to show me the way."

The two sisters felt a little relieved and, carrying their Thought Form, walked through an old street to the place where they had parted ways.

But after he finished speaking, the Thought Form was dumbfounded. If he hadn't noticed that the two sisters' eyes were also filled with astonishment, he would have even suspected that they had deliberately lured him here.

Bain was nowhere to be seen, but Bard, Gandalf, and Bilbo were there, leading a group of townspeople in a battle against the orcs.

"Dad, I'm here."

"We're here."

Sigrid and Tilda spotted Bard and shouted excitedly.

But the next moment, their mouths were covered by the Thought Form, "No, please don't shout."

But it was too late. Several orcs noticed them, along with two Ogre several meters tall.

"Remember this, don't shout in places that aren't safe," Thought Form said wearily.

The two sisters nodded hurriedly and hid behind Aaron in perfect unison.

Suddenly, a figure rushed out from the alley. Bain, panting, stood in front of the group and said, "I'll hold them off, you guys go first."

"I want to praise you, but can you please stop your hand from shaking when you say this?"

"Besides, it's not your place to play the hero here." The Thought Form said, turning to look at Bard and the others who were still fighting, and helplessly raised its Wand.

"Expecto Patronum!"

The Patronus in raven form was summoned, emitting a loud cry.

The white shockwave knocked down all the orcs within a radius of tens of meters, and even the two Ogre were forced to retreat.

The raven spread its wings, flew up to the Ogre, and slashed their throats with its claws. Several other orcs were not spared either.

Bard and his men seized the opportunity when the orcs were suppressed by magic and swiftly killed them all.

Seeing that his three children were safe and sound, Bard breathed a sigh of relief and immediately ordered the others to go to the east city wall to provide support.

"Aaron, why are you so late!" Bilbo said with some complaint. If he had arrived earlier, they wouldn't have had such a difficult time.

"I defended the west city wall by myself," the Thought Form said matter-of-factly. "I single-handedly held off hundreds of orc soldiers; otherwise, the situation in the city would have been even more chaotic."

"Gaius, can you still cast the spell you just used?" Gandalf asked.

"What do you think?" The Thought Form rolled its eyes. "Do you think I can hold off an entire army single-handedly with just a sword, without using magic?"

"Probably not."

"Absolutely not, otherwise I wouldn't be here now."

"By the way, shouldn't you give me an explanation for that Ice Dragon?"

"I'm just borrowing your reputation. The words of a highly respected Grey Wizard are certainly more inspiring and morale-boosting than those of an unknown nobody like me." The Thought Form looked at Gandalf meaningfully. "You...won't mind, will you?"

Gandalf's face twitched, but he could only suppress his grievances and force out a smile that looked worse than crying. "I don't mind, I don't mind at all."

Bilbo, come on, let's fight. I really want to kill someone right now.

"Gaius, I have a favor to ask of you," Bard said seriously. "Help me gather the women and children together and take them to the church."

"Me?" Aaron pointed to himself, laughing and crying at the same time, "You really know how to pick people. I don't know the way, and I don't know anyone. How can I help you?"

Bard paused for a moment, then looked at his son, "Bain, even if the sky falls, you can't come out. Can you do that?"

Bain nodded hesitantly, but Tilda grabbed Bard's hand. "We want to be with you."

"You should listen to your father," Alfred said, appearing out of nowhere. "Leave this to me, sir."

As he spoke, he pulled the three siblings aside one by one, but when it was Aaron's turn, he reluctantly withdrew his half-outstretched hand and revealed a sycophantic smile.

He had witnessed the magic firsthand; this person, though young, was definitely a big shot.

If the orcs do win this war, as long as they cling to this guy, survival shouldn't be a problem.

A hint of disdain flashed in the eyes of the Thought Form. The other men in this city were either fighting or on their way to fight, but this man, apart from having slightly dirty clothes, was perfectly fine, which showed how much he feared death.

"Alfred," Bard reminded him, "Only women and children can fight; all the men must participate in the battle. You must come back."

"Damn it, I'll move the adults first."

"I'll be at your service when I get back," Alfred said nervously, then turned and ran away.

"This kind of person is not worth trusting," the Thought Form said calmly.

"It's true that he's afraid of death, but he poses no threat to anyone," Bard said.

At this moment, a large number of orcs charged out from the street, and countless reinforcements also scaled the walls and entered the battlefield, making the situation for humanity extremely critical.

Upon seeing this, Bard immediately drew his Longsword and jumped into the street to stand with his people.

Are you coming?

"Hmm... I don't have much magic left. I'm planning to build a defensive spell at the church."

"Ye Ga".

"However, I can still help you overcome a small obstacle before that."

Tell your men to get back somewhere safe, or I won't be responsible if they get accidentally injured.

As Thought Form walked to the center of the street, he stood in the open space between humans and orcs.

Bard immediately understood his meaning. "Everyone, do not fight back yet, retreat as much as possible."

The Thought Form shrugged, and blazing flames erupted from its left and right hands. It then joined its hands together and released a massive fireball.

"The Dragon's... Blazing Flame."

An explosion rang out, and most of the street was instantly engulfed in flames, with parts of the street and city walls melting away.

Dozens of orcs and Ogre were either engulfed by flames or buried under the rubble.

After unleashing its ultimate attack, the Thought Form ignored the stunned crowd and said, panting heavily, "This is all I can do for now. If I have any energy left after setting up the defensive magic for the church, I will come back to help you."
