The Magic World's Grandest Event
"Uncle Jeans, could you please book me a few Quidditch World Cup tickets?" Adrian suddenly said. "I'm planning to take both of them to the game."
"Okay, no problem." Jeans smiled. "I will also prepare the other necessities in advance."
"Thanks."
Aaron was stunned for a moment before he decided to lie down at home.
"Sis," Lyon looked at her with some confusion, "When did you become interested in this kind of competition?"
"I'm not interested in this kind of competition, but I need to learn about it," Adrian said meaningfully. "You don't need to understand it yet; you just need to answer me whether you're going or not."
"I'll go." Lyon immediately agreed. He couldn't refuse his older sister's invitation, and he also happened to be planning to go and watch the biggest Magic World tournament of the year.
The siblings exchanged a glance and, without prior arrangement, turned their gaze to Aaron.
"I'll go, I'll go, okay?!"
The two men smiled and said, "You're smart to know what's good for you."
"There's one more thing," Jeans suddenly said, as if remembering something. "We might not be worried at Gaius Castle, but since we're going on a long trip, shouldn't we also notify the Darwin Family and Klein Family ' guards?"
"That's not a problem," Adrian said. "Unless it's a forbidden area, I don't have the right to travel outside independently."
"I'm not going either," Lyon said awkwardly. "My sister still needs protection, so let's leave the guard team to her!"
"Young Master Lyon, this is against the rules."
"I'll follow you whenever I want, making sure I'm within your sight, okay?" Lyon said dejectedly. "Just don't tell them, I'll stick to you like a leech."
"They thought we were going to watch a game, but they probably thought we were going to get into a brawl!"
"Oh, this..."
"Uncle Jeans, please tell me not to let anyone else follow," Aaron said immediately. "It's just watching a game, what danger could there be?"
Jeans' lips twitched slightly, but he still reluctantly agreed to the request.
After all, the young master has already proven his strength, and he would be considered an elite Auror in the Ministry of Magic.
"Tsk!" Adrian looked at Aaron with some confusion. "I can understand why Lyon's bodyguard hasn't been removed yet, after all, his work is somewhat dangerous."
But you're quite strong, and you're just an ordinary student normally, so why is your guard team still protecting you?
Aaron gritted his teeth. "When you're in the martial world, you're not in control of your own destiny."
That promise someone made was just a lie to a child; I was just foolish enough to believe it.
"Young Master, please don't wrongly accuse me," Jeans explained. "It's because you like to run away from home, and every time it's a mistake on duty. Once you're on duty for a year, twice for two years, three times..."
"There won't be a third time, I promise."
"You ran away twice?" Lyon stared at Aaron in astonishment. "How did you manage to do that?"
"Luck, it's purely luck."
"Uh... it's fine if you just brush me off, but our sister is still here. Are you sure you want to treat her like this?"
"Alright, besides luck, there's also ability." Aaron put on a profound and inscrutable look. "But the most indispensable thing is still brains."
"I'll give you one more chance to rephrase your words," Adrian sneered.
Aaron shuddered and said with an awkward laugh, "Luck, strength, and intelligence are indeed important, but the most important things are the funds for escaping and a highly mobile mount."
Adrian realized what was happening and looked at Abei, who was holding him. "Looks like this little guy is pretty amazing."
"Should I raise a Fantastic Beasts too?" Lyon asked thoughtfully.
"Didn't you raise a bunch of Pegasus? Isn't that enough?" Aaron was speechless.
"I mean something similar to Abei... Battle Pet."
"I suggest you choose Zouwu," Adrian said with a smile. "It does meet your requirements."
Lyon frowned slightly, turned to look at Abei, and said, "That's fine, but it'll probably take a lot of time. I'll also need to learn a Mythical Beast beast language."
Day 1.
After having breakfast early, Aaron and the other two changed into clean, simple, and ordinary clothes.
"Check everything you need to bring, don't leave anything at home," Adrian reminded her.
"I won't bother." Lyon shrugged. He only had a few books in his Backpack, and he couldn't be bothered to check them.
Aaron, feeling dejected, weighed the fact that he had been cursed with Undetectable Extension Charm. His Backpack contained everything he needed, including food, water, currency, and spellbooks.
Abei used to carry these things around, but now that Abei is in his older sister's arms, he feels embarrassed to put them in her pocket.
"Young Master, are you ready?" Jeans walked over and asked.
"No." Aaron rolled his eyes. "Do we really have to use the Portkey? Can't we just Apparition?"
"It's not that we won't do it, but we estimate that there will be more than 100,000 Warlock at the venue. In addition, it's uncertain whether there will be Muggle, so the location for Apparition needs to be arranged in advance."
Furthermore, Apparition some risks, and we're not in a rush, so there's no need to travel this way.
"Alright!" Aaron nodded helplessly. "Where's the Portkey?"
"Here it is." Jeans pulled out a red Quaffle. "Quidditch World Cup Special Edition Portkey. Ten more minutes until the deadline."
"Ten minutes..." Aaron frowned slightly, then looked at Adrian, "Sis, there's still time. Could you please put on a mask?"
"Why?" Adrian asked, somewhat annoyed. "I'm not so ugly that I can't be seen by anyone, am I?"
"No, no, no, sister, you've misunderstood."
On the contrary, Aaron thinks you're too beautiful. "If you were in the arena, all the Warlock would be focused on you; who would care about the competition then!" Leon chimed in.
"It's not that exaggerated." Adrian tossed her hair a little shyly, a faint blush rising on her peach-blossom face, making her even more charming and beautiful.
"It's that exaggerated," Aaron said seriously.
Leon nodded in deep agreement. Their eldest sister was too well-developed. There were at least 100,000 Warlock in the Quidditch World Cup, a mixed bag. What if some clueless person came up and harassed her?
If the eldest sister is in a good mood, she'll probably cripple him, but if she's in a bad mood, even leaving him with a whole body is a pipe dream.
In the end, it's still them who clean up the mess, and they can also smoothly pass the burden to others, such as a certain Butler.
Jeans also connected this point to Aaron and Leon's attitudes, and his face twitched involuntarily.
Taking care of one young master is tiring enough; with two more, it's no wonder he's so worried.
"Alright, I'll give you two some face this time," Adrian said with a smile. "Uncle Jeans, could you prepare a mask for me? Just enough to cover the upper half of my face."
"No problem." Jeans immediately took out his Wand, chanted a spell, and a row of masks flew down from upstairs and were neatly arranged on the table.
Adrian casually picked up one of the pairs, lightly tapped it with his index finger to erase all the colorful patterns on it, and then put it on his face, sealing away most of his stunning good looks.
Phew! ×3.
The three of them, including Jeans, breathed a sigh of relief.
Time passed quickly, and the four of them placed their hands on the Quaffle. Immediately afterward, the world spun around them, and everything became a blur of gray, making it impossible to see anything clearly.
When they opened their eyes, all they saw was a gray, swampy area.
"5:30, from Gaius Castle."
A steady voice rang out, and turning around, one saw a middle-aged man in a suit and tie.
"Mr. Jeans, the minister asked me to wait for you here." The middle-aged man smiled and took the Quaffle from Jeans's hand. "To show his respect for you, he asked me to set up a separate reception area."
Do you need directions?
"No, thank you. Just tell us the direction of the camp."
"Okay," the middle-aged man said with some regret, then pointed to a wooden plank road in the mist, "Walk along this road for about two hundred meters and you'll see the camp."
The manager is a Muggle, Roberts. Your tent was booked yesterday.
Also, Roberts is unaware that the Quidditch World Cup will be held here, so avoid using magic in front of him if possible.
"No problem."
After understanding the situation, Jeans led Aaron and the other two onto the path.
Within ten minutes, the four of them spotted a stone house. Behind the house was a large open area with hundreds of tents stretching to the edge of the distant forest.
"Hello, are you Mr. Roberts?"
"Yes, who are you?" asked Roberts, the Muggle administrator.
"Jeans, we booked a tent yesterday."
"One tent?" Aaron opened his mouth in astonishment. "There are four of us here, including a girl. Is it really appropriate for us to share one tent?"
"Perfect," Jeans said nonchalantly. "This way, you'll all be within my sight."
Aaron was speechless. After all, Adrian and Leon's guards were not around, and Jeans couldn't afford to take responsibility if something went wrong.
"Um... Mr. Jeans, your tent is in the center of the field, and your name is on it."
If there are no problems, could I pay first?
Jeans took a wallet from his pocket and took out fifty pounds. "This should be enough."
"That's enough, that's enough." Roberts put the money away and said with a slightly relaxed tone, "I thought everyone who came here was a foreigner. Before you, there were many people who couldn't even tell the difference between money and cash. They all dressed very strangely and preferred to pay with gold coins."
"Don't worry about it, there are always some people with special quirks."
"But there were just too many of them, never so many before," Roberts said. "Having a local I could communicate with would make things much easier for me in this situation."
"We don't care about that. Can we go over now?"
"Of course." Roberts handed the camp map to Jeans, then gestured for him to come in.
