Harry Potter on Trial? A Visit to the Ministry of Magic
"Can you tell us what your adult world is like?" Peter asked curiously, and the others also showed interest.
"Hmm... it's actually quite similar to your Wobi World, except there's an additional Magic World."
"That's too perfunctory!" Edmund said unhappily. "What we really want to know is the Magic World."
"I can't tell you that, Muggle, that is, ordinary people, will have their memories erased if they know about the Magic World."
"You can stay here," Aslan said sincerely. "This land tells me that you can bring lasting peace to Narnia."
"Heh!" Aaron sneered disdainfully. "I have no interest. I came here purely by accident. Helping them save Narnia once is enough. The rest is none of my business."
Besides, my parents, uncle, and my pets are all waiting for me to come home; I can't let them worry too much.
A hint of regret flashed in Aslan's eyes. "Do you need me to take you?"
"No need, I have already found a way to return."
"But I have something to do before that." Aaron said, taking a golden feather from his Costume Change Space and handing it to Lucy. "This is a parting gift for you."
"What is this?" Lucy stroked the feather, a glint of wonder in her eyes. "I have never seen such a beautiful feather before."
"This is Unicorn cub named Yu. I only got it because I have a good relationship with the person who guards them." Aaron patted Lucy's head. "I believe it will bring you good luck."
"Thank you, I will cherish it."
"Do we have any gifts for you?" Edmund asked ingratiatingly.
"No," Aaron said irritably. "The reason I gave Lucy the gift was because she was the only one who believed me when we were dealing with the witch, while the rest of you hesitated, and some even tried to shoot me with arrows."
The three looked at each other, speechless for a moment, and could only watch enviously as Lucy showed off the golden feather in her hand.
"Alright, I think we should head back," Peter said, stepping through the archway first, his younger siblings following closely behind.
After watching the four leave, Aaron shrugged at Caspian, "Don't let your teacher down, save the Telmarine of Narnia."
"I know what to do," Caspian laughed.
"That's good."
He rolled up his sleeves, then bit his finger and dripped blood onto the boundary tree mark on his left arm.
Giant Tree phantom suddenly appeared, followed by a colorful teleportation portal.
"Welcome home." Aaron glanced at the words on the door frame, then looked at a piece of parchment pasted on the door frame.
This contract is prepared for Gaius's descendants. Once signed, the chances of outstanding descendants coming to Narnia for training will increase significantly.
After a moment of silence, Aaron chose to ignore the contract.
Narnia is too small, and its forces are almost entirely low-end, so it's not effective for training.
He himself can slack off in this world, but he also has to be responsible for his future children. What he leaves them should be neither Hell nor easy.
"I have to go now. Take care."
"Wait a moment, young mage."
Aaron stopped and turned to look at the Lion King, asking with a puzzled expression, "Is there anything else?"
"Child, I can sense that you've been deliberately avoiding some things, but please remember that avoidance will never solve anything."
Aaron blinked, then walked into the portal without looking back.
After leaving this world, this world will have absolutely no connection to him in the future.
The Gaius family Chamber of Secrets.
The World Tree, connecting to the starry sky, trembled slightly, and a blue teleportation portal appeared.
Aaron calmly walked out, and as expected, Abei and Jeans were waiting for him there.
"Welcome home, young master."
How was your trip?
"Thanks to you, you've returned safely once again." Aaron picked up Abei and weighed him carefully. "Your weight hasn't changed. Looks like I wasn't gone for long!"
"Less than three days."
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "I stayed in that world for about ten days. If that's the case, the time flow rate is one to four!"
But it doesn't matter anymore. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I won't have any further dealings with that world.
"Where are Mr. Vico and his wife?"
"Uh... Young Master knows..." Jeans stammered. "The clan leader and his wife are usually quite busy."
Aaron's lips twitched. He could understand not seeing someone after a long trip, but this time he had only been gone for less than three days and Xuanxi had already disappeared.
Aaron took several deep breaths, suppressing the urge to curse, and left the Chamber of Secrets with Abei in his arms.
Arriving at the forging room, Aaron looked at the sword blank lying quietly in the furnace and summoned Argus.
"You're back. You must have come here with something!"
"Nothing can escape the eyes of our ancestors." Aaron gave a thumbs up, then took out the witch's magical artifact. "This time the harvest wasn't as great as last time; we only got this weapon."
If possible, please ask the ancestors to melt it down; it would be a contribution to my Divine Artifact.
Argus picked up the silver short spear staff and examined it carefully for a while before speaking, "The material is nothing special, but the person who uses it is quite capable."
Melting this thing into the vessel would probably affect the quality of the Divine Artifact.
"Useless?" Aaron frowned slightly. "Then it can only be kept as a collectible."
"Not quite." Argus walked up to the furnace, his crimson magic rapidly rising and gathering in his right hand, where he lightly tapped two fingers on his silver staff.
The silver staff, its surface covered in cracks, turned to ashes in the blink of an eye, leaving only a bright silver light that slowly sank into the furnace.
"Gollum!"
Aaron swallowed hard. "Ancestor, just how powerful were you in your lifetime?"
"I'm just a blacksmith." Argus chuckled lightly, then pointed to Jeans standing to the side, "But... beating him won't be a problem."
Aaron:...
That's incredibly humble!
"It will take several days for the sword embryo to fully absorb the ice element within the staff. If you have nothing else to do, please don't bother me."
Of course, this doesn't apply if there are special materials or metallic minerals involved.
"Knew."
Aaron left the Secret Chamber with mixed feelings and sat lazily on the sofa in the living room.
"Uncle Jeans, has anything major happened in the Magic World while I was away?"
"Everything appears normal on the surface."
"The surface?" Aaron raised an eyebrow. "So that means there's something fishy going on underneath?"
"More or less!" Jeans said noncommittally. "The Dark Lord is secretly gathering his old followers, and at the same time, he is sparing no effort to win over other Dark Wizard, Giant, Werewolf, Blood Clan, and Fantastic Beasts are also on his list."
As for the White Lord, he naturally stood on the opposite side and tried to stop him from doing what he wanted to do.
However, both sides maintained a certain level of understanding, engaging in covert maneuvering rather than open confrontation.
"This was all within my expectations," Aaron said casually, picking up a cup of tea. "Let me tell you something I didn't know."
Harry Potter will be tried by the Ministry of Magic the day after tomorrow.
Pfft! Cough cough!
Aaron spat out a mouthful of tea and coughed several times before he could barely catch his breath. "This news is really quite explosive."
What has he done this time to warrant the Ministry of Magic's attention?
"To use magic in front of Muggle."
"That's it?" Aaron found it somewhat amusing. "I remember that two years ago Harry turned his aunt into a balloon, and the Ministry of Magic didn't do anything to him then."
Besides, Harry couldn't possibly be unaware of the rule that adult Warlock cannot use magic outside of school; there must be a reason why he did this!
"I heard that he and his cousin encountered Dementor and, in desperation, used the Patronus Charm."
"That's even more interesting," Aaron laughed. "It's clearly written in the law that adult Warlock can use magic in front of Muggle when they are in danger."
For such a trivial matter, he's being put on trial at the Ministry of Magic? It seems Fudge is determined to have Dumbledore.
"It's probably his obsession with power that drove him to do such an absurd thing," Jeans said. "Young Master hasn't been paying much attention to the Daily Prophet lately, and public opinion is very negative towards Harry Potter Albus Dumbledore."
"This is the benefit of having power; the Minister for Magic still has control over public opinion."
It seems Fudge still refuses to face Reality Stone and admit Voldemort's resurrection!
"That's one of the downsides of wielding power." Jeans ' tone became more serious. "Fudge has started to lose all shame in order to maintain his power."
Over time, Cornelius Fudge will become a tool of power, willing to stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
"He doesn't have that chance. A greedy guy like him can't hold onto the ministerial position. It's only a matter of time before he steps down."
That's true.
"Uncle Jeans, please make some arrangements for me."
I'm going to the Ministry of Magic the day after tomorrow; please save me a seat in the gallery.
"This..."
Is there a problem?
"No, no problem, not at all." Jeans's lips twitched slightly. "But young master, I need to remind you that Harry Potter's trial has absolutely nothing to do with you."
"And young master, you don't need to worry. Although Fudge is the Minister for Magic, he can't control everything. Dumbledore will likely be Harry Potter's lawyer, so he'll definitely be fine."
"Of course I know he'll be fine, but I've never been to a trial in the Magic World before."
Jeans:...
Two days later, after having breakfast, Aaron followed Jeans to the fireplace.
"Can't we use Apparition?"
"Of course we can, but since we're not staff members of the Ministry of Magic, it's more appropriate to go through the Floo Network."
Upon hearing this, Aaron obediently grabbed a handful of Floo Powder, uttered "Ministry of Magic," and sprinkled the powder.
Green flames rose, and the two figures vanished.
A magnificent hall with a row of fireplaces on each side.
A fireplace on the left suddenly made a soft sound, and Jeans and Aaron came out from it.
Aaron briefly surveyed his surroundings. The ground was covered with dark wooden flooring, and peacock blue ceiling panels were inlaid with Winky gold symbols. The walls were made of black square stones, and in the center was a circular fountain with a pure gold statue of Warlock standing on it, surrounded by statues of Centaurs, elves, and House Elf.
Countless male and female Warlock rushed from all directions, making a jumble of footsteps.
"This is the main hall of the Ministry of Magic, located on the eighth basement level."
Above that are the Department of Magical Games and Sports, the Department of Magical Transportation, the Department of International Magical Cooperation, the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and at the very top, the Minister 'Jeans office. "Harry Potter's trial was originally scheduled to take place in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, but Fudge cleverly changed the location to the tenth basement level and moved the time forward by an hour to 8:00 AM."
"It's a little different from what I remember," Aaron muttered. "This renovation is miles ahead of what I used to know."
"That's perfectly normal," Jeans chuckled. "The last time the young master was brought by the old patriarch. Back then, the British wizarding world was still under Voldemort's shadow, so the environment of the Ministry of Magic was naturally incomparable to what it is now."
"So, what was my grandfather doing here with me back then?" Aaron asked with interest.
Jeans paused for a moment, then said, "It's nothing."
"Really? I'm a little skeptical."
"It's really nothing, I can vouch for it with my integrity," Jeans said sheepishly. "At that time, the young master was not even a year old, and the old patriarch brought you here just to recognize you."
Aaron looked at Jeans suspiciously, feeling that he was trying to cover something up.
However, he didn't ask any more questions. Things that happened more than ten years ago were too far removed from him, and he wasn't interested in knowing about them.
The two took the elevator down and passed the fountain. Aaron saw that the pool was covered with a layer of Winky silver and copper coins, but there were very few gold coins.
A sign next to it reads: All proceeds from the Wizarding World Fountain are donated to the St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Aaron was hesitating whether to be kind and throw a Gold Galleons into the pool when Abei in his arms couldn't contain himself any longer and stretched out his white claws toward the water.
It didn't want to donate money; it wanted to put the coins in the pond into its own pocket.
"Holy crap!" Aaron slapped it on the head. "You better behave yourself in public!"
Abei let out a sob and turned her face away in grievance.
Aaron was speechless. He had seen plenty of gold and silver, but this money-grubbing habit seemed to be ingrained in his bones and was hard to change.
The two made their way through the crowded people and entered the elevator.
Jeans pressed the button for the ninth floor, the golden gate closed, and the elevator slowly descended.
"Department of Mysteries"
A cold female voice rang out in the elevator, and the elevator doors swung open with a clatter.
"The elevator can't reach the tenth floor, so we have to take the stairs."
The courtroom is located at the deepest point underground, but we still have about ten minutes; we'll definitely make it in time.
