First Use of Forbidden Magic, Dragon Power Awakens
"It's truly an honor to have forced the Dark Lord into close combat," Aaron said sincerely, without the slightest affectation.
Voldemort frowned slightly. This kid... is he up to something again?
It's no wonder he thinks that way. If he were in a situation where he had an overwhelming advantage, he would never be so polite. A dead enemy is a good enemy.
"Um... we don't really need to fight to the death here, right?"
"What do you want to say?" Voldemort asked with a grim face.
"It's still the same condition: promise to let us leave if you are a descendant of Slytherin, and I'll let you leave this place," Aaron said calmly. "But there's one condition: you can't cause me any trouble afterward."
"This idiot, after the battle just now, I believe you understand your current situation, while I am invincible."
"Just that I can't cause you trouble?" Voldemort's lips curled into a playful smile. "Can I take that to mean you don't care about anyone else?"
"Uh..." Aaron scratched his head. "I know Harry Potter's propensity for courting death all too well, and according to the Prophecy, you definitely won't let him off the hook."
"Hmph!" Voldemort snorted. "You're quite clever."
"I wouldn't call myself clever; I'm just not stupid, and I don't want to cross your line." Aaron waved his hand helplessly. "Knowing him as I do, he won't give up fighting you as long as he's alive. As for his allies..."
At this point, Aaron suddenly paused, thinking of Hermione, whom he had teleported back to the Divine Thunder Hall, and gritted his teeth, "One more, Hermione Granger."
"A Mudblood?" Voldemort said angrily, "You are defiling your noble blood, Gaius."
"Stop, it's not as serious as you make it out to be." Aaron's lips twitched slightly, and he forced a smile, saying, "I just have a slight crush on her."
"You left the Portkey with her; that's quite a show of goodwill."
Aaron paused for a moment, "That was probably a subconscious act. I regretted it afterward. It's mainly my mom's fault... She always reminds me to protect the girls around me."
Let's not talk about that. My request is simple: if she gets in the way of your plans in the future, you have to let her off this time.
"Are you sure? This is ridiculous."
"There's nothing I can do." Aaron shook his head, rubbing his forehead. "I've warned her many times, but that's Gryffindor is. She might choose to help Harry Potter again in the future."
"I see." Voldemort chuckled. "There's something I don't understand. You have the upper hand now, so there's no need for you to negotiate with me."
"Slytherin are masters of self-preservation," Aaron said bluntly. "I don't believe in that Prophecy, but I have a feeling I can't kill you."
A Warlock who was killed by his own Killing Curse managed to survive for more than a decade in an extremely weak manner, and then miraculously made a comeback.
The Dark Lord is synonymous with trouble to me. I don't want to mess with you, but you shouldn't get in my way either.
I can pretend you never plotted against me this time, and I won't interfere in your dragging me into the Magic World's turmoil. How about we go our separate ways from now on?
Voldemort raised an eyebrow, his gaze towards Aaron filled with admiration. Such a sensible and discreet young man was truly rare.
He still has several Horcrux, so even if Aaron were to kill him here, it wouldn't be a serious blow to him. But the feud between the two sides would be completely severed.
Now that the other party has taken the initiative to back down and given him a way out, he has indeed changed his opinion of them.
However, what troubled him was that even after all the effort he had put into tricking Aaron into joining the Department of Mysteries, the Gaius family had indeed adhered to their ancestral teachings and had not provided him with any assistance.
It's fair to say that the secret to becoming a god, the ancient magical knowledge, is right before our eyes, and it would be truly unacceptable to give it up so easily.
If he continues fighting, he might lose his life in this space, but after being resurrected, he might still be able to catch Aaron.
Trading a Horcrux for an opportunity might... be worth it.
Voldemort immediately made a decision. "What if I refuse?"
"Good, we can draw up a contract." Aaron said, then realized what he meant, "Don't agree? But...why?"
"I admire your pragmatism."
But if I let you leave today, there might not be another chance like this.
"I understand now." Aaron suddenly realized, and his attitude immediately changed. "Then let's prepare for a fight to the death!"
Aaron slowly raised his right hand, and instantly dark clouds rolled in the sky, with black and purple lightning surging and transforming into a ferocious thunder dragon that blotted out the sky.
Thunderbolts shot out from Leilong's eyes, tearing the sky apart and causing the space to tremble, turning the calm lake below into a turbulent sea.
"Ultimate Elemental Magic probably won't kill you, but the Forbidden Magic corresponding to Holy Magus might be a different story." Aaron grinned, revealing his white teeth. "In Reality Stone, I really couldn't unleash such terrifying magic without thorough preparation, but here... hehe!"
Voldemort was greatly shocked. Although he was very close to becoming Saint Mage, and even had one foot in that realm, he was not a true Holy Magus after all.
The previous ultimate Magic Array only bothered him, but this magic made him feel a deadly threat.
However, after the initial panic came pure joy. Aaron's treasure trove might be even bigger than he had imagined, which further solidified his previous idea: to exchange one Horcrux for another opportunity.
He immediately raised his Wand, and his own magic transformed into a thick white beam of light, like a sharp spear piercing towards the thunder dragon's head.
The thunder dragon roared down, and the white magic gradually faded amidst the thunder.
Voldemort immediately unleashed a massive burst of magic, and the white beam of light suddenly grew larger, suppressing the Thunder Dragon.
Seeing this, Aaron also poured in his magic, and a fierce roar came from the dark clouds. A burst of black and purple lightning instantly engulfed the pillar of light and Voldemort.
A huge explosion rang out.
A sinkhole was blasted into the lake, and endless lake water poured into it.
The sky cleared instantly, with only a few dark purple lightning bolts slowly dissipating.
"Call!"
Aaron let out a long sigh of relief; even with the support of his Mind Space, that move still left him feeling exhausted.
Looking at the sinkhole filled with overflowing lake water, Aaron's lips twitched violently.
No wonder his ancestor Weihert forbade him from practicing Forbidden Magic at home; it was a magic capable of destroying a city!
"Cough cough!"
A weak cough sounded at an inopportune moment, and a cloud of black mist suddenly flew out of the sinkhole.
Voldemort landed on the lake in a disheveled state, his black Warlock robes mostly burned off, with several burns on his body and blood seeping from both arms.
"Holy crap! You're still alive?"
Aaron was shocked. Voldemort was practically unkillable; even his strongest spell, which he used to push his limits, hadn't killed him.
"Hehe! Are you surprised?"
You're not Holy Magus after all, and I'm not as weak as you think.
That's a good move, but it's a spell that focuses on area-of-effect damage, so I can still block it.
"That's true." Aaron nodded thoughtfully.
If he could compress and release even a fraction of his magic, Voldemort would be utterly annihilated, leaving not a trace. The problem is, his current mastery of magic is not yet at that level.
"It doesn't matter, I can just finish him off with another stab," Aaron muttered.
"Are you sure?" Voldemort said playfully, "This space probably wouldn't last even if it happened again, right?"
Aaron's eye twitched slightly; Voldemort was indeed telling the truth.
His Mind Space was only half-built, and although it looked quite beautiful, it wasn't really that solid, otherwise it wouldn't have been shaken by a Forbidden Magic.
"Fine, a little trouble is fine!" Aaron slapped his forehead, and golden flames suddenly burst forth from his arms. "Dragon-Slaying Secret Art... Crimson Lotus Exploding Flame Blade!"
Voldemort:...
Damn! So what if you have a lot of magic power?
He immediately erected a barrier in front of him, but his condition was too weak, and the barrier shattered under the impact of the flames. He skipped several stones on the lake before finally coming to a stop.
"This is outrageous!"
"I was ganged up on and beaten by your ten men before. Targeting me and launching a sneak attack is just going too far," Aaron said disdainfully. Now that they'd torn off all pretense of civility, he didn't need to hold back.
"Dragon-Slaying Secret Art..."
Seeing the flames reignite in Aaron's hand, Voldemort seemed to realize something, and a glint of light flashed in his eyes.
"Etc."
"You've changed your mind, haven't you!" Aaron raised an eyebrow, and a meticulously drafted contract appeared before him. "Let's sign this contract now. We'll remain strangers, and from now on, we'll go our separate ways."
"Don't overthink it."
Voldemort scoffed and lightly waved his Wand.
A Fiendfyre erupted from the tip of his Wand, but he did not stop. Instead, he used his remaining magic to release the flame with all his might.
"Are you out of your mind?!" Aaron looked at him suspiciously. "I'm a Dragon Slayer Mage right here. Using Fiendfyre to burn down my space is just wishful thinking."
Aaron exhaled and inhaled, swallowing a large amount of flames into his stomach.
A slight smile finally appeared on Voldemort's face, and he then frantically burned everything around him with Fiendfyre, saying, "Let's see how much you can eat."
Upon hearing this, Aaron's expression changed drastically; he seemed to have realized Voldemort's intentions.
The Fiendfyre is a demonic fire that can burn everything. If left unchecked, this space will be destroyed by the flames. However, if the flames are to be stopped, the only options besides sealing them are to consume them.
However, sealing takes time, Voldemort wouldn't give him that chance, so the only option facing him was to eat fire.
The problem is that his magic power has a limit. If it exceeds this limit, his body may not be able to withstand it, and then Voldemort will find a chance to leave.
"Look at this!" Voldemort said smugly as he excitedly set the fire. "What a simple matter! Why would I complicate such a simple matter!"
Mr. Gaius, I think I'll be able to leave soon.
The Reality Stone -world situation could reverse in an instant; I will repay you a thousandfold for what you just gave me.
Aaron was furious, but he could only channel his grief and anger into his appetite.
Although the magic replenished by the Mind Space has no effect on the Reality Stone world, we can't just stand by and watch the space he painstakingly built crumble!
Even if he could easily return to his original state in an instant, he would still inevitably feel regret.
It's all because of my OCD. Next time, I'll definitely use Defense Magic Array to cover every corner of my Mind Space and build this place into an indestructible fortress.
Click! Click!
As Aaron devoured the last of the flames, his body was covered in cracks, through which wisps of flame could still be seen.
"Are you full?" Voldemort asked meaningfully. "If you're not full, there's plenty more."
"You shouldn't have used Fiendfyre against me." Aaron was overwhelmed, but a strange smile appeared on his lips. "You won this round, but the situation in the Reality Stone world is in my favor."
Upon hearing this, Voldemort frowned slightly.
He wanted to ask something more, but then he noticed that Aaron's body was slowly dissipating, and his consciousness was being pushed out of the space.
Soon after, he was confronted with Reality Stone.
Feeling his real body and the still relatively abundant magic within him, Voldemort breathed a heavy sigh of relief. Just as Aaron had said, his state after leaving the Mind Space was exactly the same as before entering Mind Space.
"Gaius, it was my oversight just now, but I won't make the same mistake twice."
"Just come with me obediently, and I'll find a way to get what I want."
"I refuse." Aaron's voice was hoarse, and the moment he raised his head, Voldemort took a step back in surprise.
Good heavens, that's really good heavens.
He transformed himself into something inhuman in his quest for immortality, but the person opposite him seemed even more ruthless.
Aaron's right cheek was covered with bluish-black Dragon Scale, his right arm had turned into a dragon claw, his pupils had turned into cold vertical pupils, and a wing had slowly grown from his back.
"Roar!"
Aaron let out a roar, and the terrifying sound wave forced Voldemort back more than ten steps.
The loud noise drew everyone's attention. The battle in the Mind Space was particularly difficult for Voldemort and Aaron, but in the Reality Stone world it only lasted for a brief moment.
Abei was still entangled with seven Death Eater, and Harry and his friends were also anxiously watching the battle, but the sudden change in Aaron came almost without warning.
"Animagus?" Voldemort asked with a grim face. "No, this is definitely not Animagus, nor is it Metamorphmagus."
"Mine is far more advanced than Transfiguration." Aaron clenched his right hand, feeling the immense magical power coursing through his body, and couldn't help but be captivated.
If Magic Power had a data bar, he would probably be able to clearly see that his Magical Energy, which had been depleted to less than three digits, was rapidly increasing and had broken through five digits in the blink of an eye, reaching the threshold of Grand Archmage.
Although the speed slowed down after that, it was still progressing towards the bottleneck of a mid-level archmage.
Voldemort also noticed Aaron's change in state, and his composure immediately crumbled. He even felt that fate had played a cruel joke on him.
He finally managed to bring Aaron to near death, but then Aaron's Mind Space went haywire, and he almost lost his life before escaping. As soon as he came out, Aaron suddenly unleashed his full power.
Not only did his injuries heal instantly, but his magic power also increased by at least 100%. Is there any justice in this world?
