Aaron leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs.

"Princess Hela, as they say, no friendship without a fight.

Your affairs are your own, but as long as it's within my capabilities, I'll do my best to help."

"Do your best?" Hela looked at him teasingly. "That isn't what I want."

Aaron shrugged indifferently, utterly unconcerned.

Helping was a favor; refusing was his right. Besides, there wasn't even the slightest bit of goodwill between him and Hela. If anything, there was quite a grudge between them.

And shouldn't someone asking for help have the right attitude? With Hela acting so high and mighty, anyone who didn't know better would think he was the one begging her!

"I want to stay here for a while."

"Huh?" Aaron froze for a moment before immediately shaking his head. "No. Absolutely not."

"Are you refusing me?" Hela tilted her head and waved one hand. A Night Sword appeared in her grasp.

"If you insist on interpreting it that way." Aaron shrugged noncommittally, already prepared for the negotiations to fall apart.

His magic power had not yet recovered, but he still had his Thoughtform's magic power. Besides, Earth was not Helheim.

They were evenly matched. If they truly fought, neither side would benefit.

Hela snorted softly and put away the Night Sword before casually sitting down on the sofa.

"I may have escaped, but Odin sealed away most of my divine power."

Hm? An unexpected delight!

Aaron raised an eyebrow and folded his arms, looking even more composed and confident.

With her divine power sealed, there was nothing much to fear.

"Until my divine power recovers, I need a safe place to recuperate." Hela calmly surveyed the Divination Shop with an amused look. "The conditions here are rather poor, but it will do."
