"Make way." Felix charged forward with a tree dozens of meters tall slung over his shoulder, each step making the ground tremble faintly.
After a short run-up, he roared and hurled the tree viciously from his shoulder.
Like a javelin, the giant tree traced an arc through the air and slammed into the wall of flames with overwhelming force.
The tree did not disappoint Felix. Though the fire wall slowed it down, it ultimately tore open a gap.
He made a snap decision and accelerated toward the opening.
On the other side, Daisy stared blankly at the burning tree, her scalp tingling with terror.
Before she could recover, a towering figure charged at her. Illuminated by the firelight, his bloodthirsty grin looked especially savage.

Daisy screamed and instinctively raised Snake Eater, aiming its muzzle at Felix.
"Useless." Felix sneered. He did not possess abilities like Jane's or Alec's, but his physical strength far surpassed that of ordinary vampires.
