"Very well." Aaron put away the contract and turned to Jane Volturi, who looked somewhat dazed but not particularly nervous. "The situation now is that Aro sold you to me. It would be rather inappropriate for you to keep standing with the Volterra Family."
Jane opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something, but under Aro's reassuring glance, she walked out of the Volterra camp and reluctantly stood behind Aaron.
Aaron nodded in satisfaction. "The Volterra Family does have some credibility."
"Of course." Aro replied as though it were only natural.
"Jane is mine now, so whatever I ask her to do, whatever I do to her, is perfectly justified, right?"
