Steve had barely charged forward a hundred meters when a squad of Hydra agents left behind on the Helicarrier opened fire on him.
Facing the dense barrage, Steve hurriedly raised his shield in front of him and ran toward a cluster of containers, using the cover to blunt Hydra's firepower.
In the instant he turned, a Hydra agent appeared at his side.
But before he could pull the trigger, the submachine gun in his hands was pinned against a container by the shield.
Steve moved swiftly, punching the agent in the face. As he knocked him unconscious, he casually grabbed the grenade from his shoulder.
After expertly pulling the pin, Steve threw the grenade, and it landed right at the feet of the nearest group of Hydra agents.
