The Confidence to Stand Alone
"Are those your friends, young master?" Jeans asked, looking at Draco's figure. "If I remember correctly, they are Malfoy."
Is there a problem?
"Hmm..." Jeans hesitated for a few seconds, "There's something I need to remind you, young master. The Malfoy are the representatives of Pure-blood families, and they have great contempt for Half-blood and Muggle-born Warlock."
Furthermore, as far as I know, Lucius had some connection with the Dark Lord in the past, and no one knows whether they have severed ties.
"I know, but Lucius is Lucius and Draco is Draco."
I have a good eye for making friends; I never misjudge people.
"Then there's no problem." Jeans smiled. "Young Master, you don't only have this one friend, do you?"
"How is that possible?"
"But he and I got along quite well in Slytherin House." Aaron pursed his lips, then nodded to Harry and the others. "Those are my Gryffindor friends."
"The Weasley family and Harry Potter?" Jeans raised an eyebrow; his red hair and the scar on his forehead were enough to identify them.
"Young Master's social skills are really quite good!"
"That's a must."
At that moment, a chubby figure came into their line of sight; in terms of width, Hagrid probably couldn't even match him.
He stared at Harry with angry eyes, with a thin woman and a chubby boy standing behind him.
"It's clear that Harry Potter's family background isn't very good; his family doesn't seem to like him," Jeans said. "And this is in public."
It's truly lamentable that a famous figure in the Magic World grew up in such an environment.
However, he was lucky. From the moment he entered Hogwarts, his fate changed and would continue to change.
Before this, he had to live this kind of dependent life.
"On this point, I agree with you."
evening.
When Aaron arrived at his home, the House Elf skillfully carried his suitcase to his bedroom.
Abei also took off the clothes she was wearing over her clothes and happily flapped her wings in the castle's main hall.
It can only act so recklessly at home; once it leaves the house, if it doesn't have some disguise, Aaron will throw it away without hesitation.
Vico and Lisana were overjoyed to see their beloved son and gave him a hug.
"You've grown quite a bit taller." Lisana looked at Aaron, who was over 1.6 meters tall, with satisfaction in her eyes.
"How are you feeling at school?" Vico coughed. "If you regret your decision, I'll arrange for you to transfer schools immediately."
"Well... that won't be necessary!" Aaron chuckled awkwardly. "Dad, I'm doing just fine in Slytherin."
"Really?" Vico said sarcastically. "Do you know why we came here?"
On one hand, I miss my son; on the other hand, your principal wrote me a letter.
Dumbledore, saying your performance was truly outstanding, daring to scheme against the Professor in dealing with Voldemort. How many lives do you have?
"Exactly." Lisana's expression immediately turned serious. "We know you won't do things you're not sure of, but this time it's really too risky."
Moreover, Abei's identity has been exposed, and even the Black Demon King knows of its existence.
You've only been in school for one year, and you've already caused quite a bit of trouble.
"That was an accident." Aaron smiled sheepishly, though in his heart he was cursing Dumbledore death. How dare that old geezer complain?
It's estimated that Dumbledore started writing the letter after he left the Headmaster's Office; otherwise, his arrival wouldn't have been so timely.
"Dumbledore has already seen the guarantee. He knows our family's influence, and I think he might try to get us on board to fight Voldemort."
"It's not possible, it's certain," Vico said firmly. "Warlock who has lived for over a hundred years couldn't have lived that long without some cunning."
Voldemort didn't die; this is a consensus among intelligent people. How could a Dark Wizard who is so close to becoming Holy Magus die so easily? It's a pity he narrowed his path; otherwise, he might have gone even further.
Even so, he was still in considerable danger.
It's utterly ridiculous that someone would die at the hands of a child.
Dumbledore aware of this as well, and he had plenty of time to prepare, and I believe he was very well prepared.
He lacked confidence as well, after all, Voldemort was a powerful figure of equal strength to him, with a large following, and it was only a matter of time before he made a comeback.
At that moment, a large Warlock family happened to come into his sights, and it would be hard to believe he didn't have some ulterior motives.
However, he will later realize that his attempt to undermine our family was a complete waste of effort and brought shame upon himself.
Of course, the Dark Lord is the same.
"So confident?" Aaron, somewhat surprised.
He also has confidence in his family, a confidence based on his own potential.
Given time, he could easily have the power to capsize the ship before Dumbledore could completely pull him onto it.
Even if things really come to a head, as long as the large Magic Array inside the castle are activated, the Holy Magus might not be able to break in. That's his real confidence.
What does it matter to me if things are in chaos outside? I can still live a peaceful life behind closed doors.
Lucius used to Death Eater, but after Voldemort's downfall, he still managed to retire unscathed thanks to the Malfoy family's wealth and connections, and is now thriving.
The Gaius family has a stronger foundation than the Malfoy family; surely they shouldn't be outdone by them!
"Confidence is justified," Vico said calmly with a smile. "Since the beginning of the magical age, countless brilliant talents have emerged, including Warlock even more powerful than Dumbledore and Riddle."
Many ambitious Dark Wizard have also considered gaining the support of the Hidden Family, because compared to Pure-blood, we have a much greater influence on the Magic World.
Without exception, they all eventually gave up.
All four families have been visited, the worst being Grand Archmage, including Salazar Slytherin of Hogwarts.
However, we were even more unlucky. A few centuries BC, a God of Magic came to visit us.
His attitude at the time was extremely tough: submit or die. He was incredibly arrogant.
"And then?" Aaron asked impatiently.
"Heh heh, guess... hiss!"
Vico wanted to whet his son's appetite, but the next moment his wife pinched his arm, and he immediately gasped.
"Our ancestors were very polite in inviting him into the castle for a cup of tea. He left dejectedly, promising never to do anything foolish like that again."
"And then what?"
"That's all!" Vico shrugged casually. "What else do you want to hear?"
Aaron:...
"Of course it's the Celestial! Our defense system shouldn't be able to stop God of Law!"
"Want to know?" Vico smiled meaningfully, while Lisana looked at her son with a mocking expression.
Aaron knew it was hopeless when he saw this. In this family, as long as the Gaius Couple stood on the same side, he, as their son, would have no say.
Moreover, the reason was very appropriate: his age was a major disadvantage, and at ten years old, he was not suitable to be involved with the family's secrets.
"Come find me after dinner, and I can tell you part of the story," Vico suddenly said.
Aaron was taken aback, a mix of surprise and confusion in his voice. "Are you sure you want to tell me? Isn't this a bit too early?"
"The other three families may have been able to do it earlier, but as long as our family has the strength, we are qualified to know about these things, and we must know about them." Vic said, turning his gaze to the ring on Aaron's hand. "As expected of my son, I was considered a genius when I was in school, and I only reached the level of High-level Mage at the age of fourteen."
"It turns out your son is better than you."
"That's something to be proud of," Lisana laughed, then waved at the ceiling and hugged Abei tightly. "Son, has your pet gotten fat?"
"Well... the school food isn't as good as home-cooked meals, but the portions are just too big!"
"It needs to lose weight."
"Don't worry, Madam, the diet plan for weight loss has been finalized and should be ready by tomorrow morning," Jeans said with a smile.
Abei immediately began to express his dissatisfaction, kicking his four chevron-colored claws and flapping his wings incessantly.
"There's no use in worrying. If you don't lose weight soon, I won't be able to carry you anymore." Lisana didn't seem to care. Looking at Abei's aggrieved eyes, she couldn't help but take a step back. "I'll give you an extra chicken leg tonight."
Unmoved, Abei intensified her efforts to act cute.
Just as Aaron was about to pull it over, Lisana couldn't hold back any longer. "From now on, we'll improve its diet every three days. We really can't go any further."
Abei immediately fell silent, leaving Aaron to sigh that he was too late.
During dinner, Aaron was restless, watching his father across the table, particularly curious about the family's secrets.
The others ate their meals peacefully, as it's a rare treat for the family to get together.
Only Abei was clinging to the plate and munching away, his belly bulging out but he didn't stop, making clinking and clattering noises from time to time, and no one seemed to mind.
They all understood Abei's thoughts. This was a highly intelligent dragon, and it knew very well that tonight was one of the few feasts it could enjoy during its holiday. After that, it would have to learn from humans and tighten its belt.
