Uzumaki Ayaka panted as she spoke. They had been traveling nonstop, and though she had enough food and water, her lungs felt as if they were about to burst. Every breath felt like blades slicing through them.
"We have to reach the next town before nightfall. If you fall behind and can't keep up, stay in these deep mountains and forests. I won't save you."
Hyuga Mirai spoke flatly. Before an outsider like Uzumaki Ayaka, he no longer needed to pretend to be Konoha's model young man. He discarded that damned mask of a Will of Fire inheritor without hesitation.
Uzumaki Ayaka possessed an enormous amount of Chakra, and it was filled with the characteristics of Yang Release. However, she had been fleeing since childhood, and no one had ever taught her how to use Chakra.
Hyuga Mirai had no time to play nanny. He had to make Uzumaki Ayaka learn to use Chakra in the shortest possible time, or she would be at the very bottom of the Ninja World.
"The amount of Chakra in your body is even greater than mine. Sense it, then try to use it. Gather Chakra in your hands to gain strength; gather it in your feet to travel more easily..."
"Remember this: if you fall behind, keep company with wild beasts. Don't bother calling for help. No one will save you."
After saying that, Hyuga Mirai turned and continued onward. He was not moving particularly fast; compared to a Ninja, it was practically a crawl.
But Uzumaki Ayaka had no Ninja training whatsoever. The long journey had already left her feet covered in blisters. Yet she did not dare slow down in the slightest, because she had seen with her own eyes how easily
