Su Ye challenged and defeated the World Lord Zeng Tianyao, then turned Zeng’s own soul-trapping formation against him and freed its countless captives. As Zeng fled toward Qin Batian and Supreme Academy prepared its recruitment contests, Su Ye’s place in the coming selection remained uncertain.

• Qin Batian hired the injured World Lord Zeng Tianyao to assassinate Su Ye, while Su Ye awakened and told his companions that Lin Qingyue was not dead.
• Zhang Ruiyi brought Jin Shenghuang to challenge Su Ye, but Zeng Tianyao arrived to attack him, prompting Su Ye to test his sword against a World Lord.
• Su Ye revealed his True Self Sword, combining thousands of strands of Law Power, and defeated Zeng Tianyao despite Zeng’s Illusory Realm.

As the Supreme Academy prepared to open, Su Ye pursued Zeng Tianyao while the new recruits tested themselves and waited for him. Su Ye arrived during the Dao Seed ceremony, killed a World Lord to prove his worth, and challenged Qin Batian, surviving their first clash.

• Yang Gui brought Ning Meier and Dongfang Shengyao to the central Star Domain, where they met Chen Wuxin, who vowed to test his sword against Su Ye at Supreme Academy.
• A battle between World Lords disrupted Xu Quanjian’s teleportation, and Chen Wuxin glimpsed the lingering Sword Qi and declared he would become a World Lord within five hundred years.
• Su Ye pursued Zeng Tianyao until Lin Qingyue attacked him, but Xiao Yuan’s projection trapped her and the Void Shadow in a Six Paths Domain at the cost of his soul projection.
• The Supreme Academy’s special recruits and other Heavenly Chosen gathered and fought for admission, while Chen Ping'an defeated Jin Shenghuang and Ning Jian’s Void Shadow snapped Long Nianxin’s Evil Sword.
• The Hundred-Knowing Scholar used the Fate Augury Pearl to reach Su Ye, who promised to arrive, while Su Kuangtian planned to bring him to the academy and settle old grudges.
• At the opening ceremony, Zeng Tianyao used Dao Sacrifice to reach the academy and tried to make Su Ye miss the Void Dao Seed opportunity, but Su Ye arrived as the Heavenly Chosen received their seeds.
• Su Ye demonstrated his Nine Extremes God-Connecting Sword, revealed the illusory World Lord who had ordered his death, and killed him with one sword to demand admission.
• Su Ye revealed his Star Shattering Perfection cultivation and challenged Qin Batian, then met Qin Batian’s seven-law blade with his True Self Sword and rose from the impact, declaring Qin Batian could not kill him.
