Taking Another Day Off

I really can't write anymore. I think everyone can probably guess what comes next: Kaguya fights Itto, then Itto fights the protagonist, then the protagonist fights himself, and then Ryūshiki fights the protagonist. No matter how I think about it, it feels boring. I know that readers who have followed the story this far are probably just looking forward to an ending, but writing it this way is truly painful. All I can say is that I really can't write fight scenes. In the later stages, I've tried to weave in slightly more interesting or humorous scenes so it wouldn't get too dull, but writing too many scenes like that makes it hard to keep going as well. In short, I've hit a bottleneck. Let me think it over some more.

To be honest, I had originally planned to finish the main story and then, at the request of some readers, write some Bleach side stories. Of course, I have to take the First-Class Construction Engineer exam in September. I failed the practical module last year, so my previous plan was to update once every seven days after the main story ended, just to make sure my investment didn't lapse, then come back to write after the exam. I even made some preparations. For example, Ryūshiki's arrival was not only meant to give the plot some ups and downs; it also had another important purpose: to give the protagonist a reason to erase his memories. Otherwise, it would be awkward when the side stories got to Aizen. Planetary consciousness was part of it too. I had planned to establish the Spirit King as the planet's consciousness, so that in order to avoid awakening him, the protagonist would only project part of his power down, preventing him from being too overpowered.
