The Scheming Mei Terumi

Mei Terumi's heart sank. Didn't Gigue mean that the next ones to come would be enemies?

Her expression turned tense as she pressed him,

"Then they're enemies? Do they possess power like yours, Saint Gigue?"

Gigue tilted his head and teased,

"Oh? You're calling me 'Saint' again. Are you scared?"

Mei Terumi awkwardly brushed back her long hair and said,

"I was a little carried away before. Actually, I've always respected you very much..."

Yet Gigue's next words sent a chill rising from the depths of her heart.

"Their purpose is actually quite simple. They want to plant a tree and wait for it to bear fruit. Once they harvest the fruit, they'll leave. The only problem is... the fertilizer for that tree is the humans on this planet."

A tree that used humans as fertilizer was enough to make one shudder. If those people truly planted it, it would be an extinction-level disaster for humanity.

"As for their strength, I imagine they're inferior to me. But to the Ninja World, they would still be unbeatable. Ninjutsu is ineffective against them.
