"What is this?" Kaspars looked at the arrowhead Sno had taken out, a trace of confusion on his face. It looked rather old, with two Rochard Language characters carved into it. Though it was covered in verdigris, its edges remained extraordinarily sharp, as if the slightest touch would drive it deep into flesh.
"I call it an 'arrow.' Simply put, it's a tool that can grant people 'power.' It burrows into the body of whoever it scratches and develops an ability called a Stand. Different individuals gain different special abilities according to their aptitude. Those without sufficient potential lose their power after the arrow is removed, while those with enough potential can retain it even after losing the arrow."
Sno toyed with the arrowhead engraved with the Rochard Language characters for "compassion," briefly explaining how it was used. Sno could only settle for the next best thing, recording enough "programs" into the spirit within the arrow so that it could subtly influence the host's spiritual body during installation.
"This must be very valuable, right? I don't think I have enough potential." Kaspars stared at the arrowhead in Sno's hand before wisely shaking his head.

For instance, even an ordinary Extraordinary Item, even a low-level consumable, started at several dozen pounds. He had never even heard of something that could directly grant a person power.
"I have a matching meditation method. As long as you meditate after installation, you can gradually develop your potential and preserve this ability.
