As a fierce gust burst from his palm, the students could finally see the training ground clearly. Uchiha Kyo looked as though he had been drained by a ghostly woman—his entire body had shriveled into a dry, withered husk.

They still could not find Torikaze. Instead, they saw a pale pink, translucent Crystal statue. It was identical to Torikaze and glittered brilliantly beneath the sunlight.

"Teacher, can the Great Fireball Technique turn someone directly into Crystal?" Maruboshi Kosuke asked blankly.

Sarutobi Mizuya had no idea what to say. He simply blurted out, "It can turn people into fertilizer."

"Idiot, that's not me!" Torikaze smacked Maruboshi Kosuke hard on the head.

Kosuke was caught off guard by the blow and was somewhat annoyed, but then he realized that Torikaze had somehow appeared behind him.

"Eh! Torikaze! You're not dead!"

Torikaze said irritably, "Were you really hoping I'd die?"

Maruboshi Kosuke scratched his head and gave a foolish grin. "No, no. Of course I'm happy that you're okay."

"It's good that you're all right, Torikaze. You really scared us."

Teacher Sarutobi was shaken as well. If someone had died the first time he taught a class, he had no idea how the clan would punish him.

Torikaze assured Teacher Sarutobi that he was fine, then walked toward Uchiha Kyo.

"Torikaze..."

Torikaze turned around and saw Chiri looking at him with conflicted eyes.

"Don't worry. I won't kill him."

Torikaze walked up to Uchiha Kyo, looked at his dried-out body lying on the ground, and grabbed him with one hand.

"Light as a feather."

Then he hurled Uchiha Kyo high toward a thick tree.

"Crystal Release—Hexagonal Shuriken Wild Dance!"

With a sweep of his hand, countless hexagonal Crystal shards spun and danced through the air like shuriken. The sunlight they refracted was dazzling, brilliant as a spectacular light show.

The hexagonal Crystals struck precisely along Uchiha Kyo's clothing. Their powerful force sent him flying several meters before pinning him firmly to the tree without harming even a patch of his skin.

"That's... Crystal?" Chiri considered herself fairly knowledgeable about ninjutsu, yet she had never seen the techniques Torikaze used today.

A thought surfaced in her mind.

He had originally intended to go himself, but Tobirama stopped him, reasoning that the Hokage could not handle every matter personally and needed to give his subordinates opportunities to learn as well.

Just then, the office door opened, and Sarutobi Mizuya walked in.

"Lord Hokage, Lord Tobirama, I failed in my duty. Please punish me."

Hashirama waved a hand, indicating that he need not blame himself. "Tell us. What happened?"

Sarutobi Mizuya reported everything that had occurred during Combat Training to the Hokage.

Tobirama said with a dark expression, "That inherently evil Uchiha Clan—just as expected, none of them know how to behave! They actually dared to attack openly within the village!"

Hashirama also found the situation quite troubling, though fortunately, Torikaze had not been injured.
