Nagato and Konan were both stunned for a moment. They had never imagined that such an important figure would come to their village.
They had originally come to welcome their teacher, Jiraiya, but now the First Hokage's wife had actually arrived.
"Greetings, Lady Mito!" Nagato hurriedly bowed, and Konan did the same.

Mito's words put Nagato greatly at ease. "Then I can rest assured. Uzumaki was my mother's surname, so naturally, I can inherit it."
