Kushina then rushed out in a panic. "Naruto! Where are you?!"

Seeing him, Kushina immediately calmed down. "You scared me to death. I woke up from my nap and found Naruto gone. Good thing you were still home, Big Brother."
"Don't you know me? I basically never leave the house."
Kushina nodded. That was true. Aside from necessary trips outside, Torikaze indeed never went out without a reason.
"It's the first day of the New Year, but there are so few people at home. It feels so quiet."
Kushina found a chair beside Torikaze and sat down, making it easier for her to look after Naruto.
"It's not so bad. Once you get used to it, it doesn't feel quiet anymore."
