At Chisato's words, she instantly cast aside every stray thought in her mind and shouted three words at the fastest speed of her life: "I'm willing!!!"

The sheer volume and speed made Torikaze glance sideways. This girl is incredible. My ears are still ringing.

"Haha, good! From now on, you'll cultivate under me."

"What about government affairs, Big Brother?"

Hashirama Senju replied casually, "Just leave them to the Wood Clones. Besides, aren't you here too?"

Tobirama Senju stared at his big brother with dark lines across his forehead. He knew this would happen! His big brother had never been good at administrative work, though he usually handled some of it. Now that he had taken on disciples, he would probably dump all the government affairs on him.

Under his younger brother's death glare, Hashirama felt a little embarrassed, so he directly changed the subject. "Torikaze, come to your Master's house tonight. I'll have Shishou's Wife make you something delicious, and we can talk about your Crystal Release while we're at it."

Torikaze immediately understood—his Master was going to give him private instruction! He happily agreed. Although he had independently developed some Crystal Release ninjutsu, their power was limited, making them difficult to use for large-scale destruction.

His Master undoubtedly had authority in this area. With his help, things should become much easier.

Tobirama suddenly spoke up. "Starting tomorrow, you won't need to go to the academy anymore. Cultivate with my big brother and me, and meet my disciple while you're at it."

Torikaze and Chisato agreed in unison. They chatted for a while longer, until a ninja came to report a mission. Then Torikaze and Chisato left.

Walking through Konoha's streets, Chisato still felt as though everything that had just happened was a dream—completely unreal.

"If this really is a dream, I hope I never wake up."

Chisato's words made Torikaze laugh. This little girl truly worshipped Lord Hokage.

Hearing Torikaze laugh, Chisato turned to him somewhat shyly. "Thank you, Torikaze-kun. I owe you an enormous favor this time. I never thought Lord Hokage would let me cultivate under him!"

"This is only the beginning. Work hard, and becoming Master's disciple won't be difficult. After all, your talent is right there for everyone to see."

That was simply the truth. Chisato's talent far surpassed that of Koharu and Mitokado Homura. If she were to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan in the future, her potential would be even more impossible to predict.

Chisato's face filled with longing at his words. She was already very satisfied with things as they were, but becoming Lord Hokage's disciple would naturally be even better!

"I'll work hard!" Chisato declared, brimming with determination.

The two chatted idly as they walked down the street, both holding great expectations for their future cultivation.

Torikaze, meanwhile, began considering his next plan. His goal of becoming the Hokage's disciple had already been accomplished—and beyond expectations!

He had directly become the First Hokage's disciple. That meant that no one in the village would have a higher status than him in the future! After all, he was currently the only true disciple of the Hokage!

As the First Hokage's disciple, he would surely become an Elder with the greatest authority in the future. Still, Torikaze had no particular interest in power. Living peacefully and enjoying a wonderful life was his main goal.

But since he had become Master's disciple, he had an obligation to protect the home his Master had built with everything he had.

"By the way, Torikaze-kun, when will the sparring match we discussed begin?" Chisato asked impatiently. She urgently needed to know just how large the gap between herself and Torikaze-kun was.

"Any time is fine. You decide."

Chisato thought for a moment. "You're going to Lord Hokage's house tonight, and we'll be cultivating during the day tomorrow. Then let's do it tomorrow night!"

"Sure." Torikaze agreed at once. During his earlier battle with Uchiha Kyo, he had not used any of his real strength at all. That fool had practically gotten himself killed.

Ever since he killed the Kumogakure Spy, Torikaze had spent the past month continuously training in Taijutsu and ninjutsu while tirelessly developing Cloud Release. His strength had increased considerably.

His Chakra had long since reached Jonin level. However, because he lacked actual combat experience, the system panel only listed him as having Chunin-level strength.

Sparring with Chisato would also give him a rough understanding of his current strength.

"Hehe, then I'll head back to the Uchiha Compound first. See you tomorrow!" Chisato waved goodbye with a bright smile.

"See you tomorrow."

Watching Chisato's figure gradually disappear into the distance, Torikaze also prepared to return home and begin today's Cloud Release training.

Uchiha Compound.

"Did you see your younger brother?" an aged, withered voice asked hoarsely.

"I did. He stole and took a Forbidden Pill! He probably won't survive. Who gave it to him?" A boy of around fifteen or sixteen stood there with blood-red eyes, three tomoe spinning within his pupils.

"Put them away! Setsuna! Are you planning to attack me?" the old man shouted angrily.

After being shouted at, Uchiha Setsuna resentfully deactivated his Sharingan. Still unable to contain his anger, he shouted, "He was only six! His future was limitless! How could he just die like this!"

The old man sighed faintly. "He stole the medicine himself. He thought it was something that enhanced Chakra, all because he wanted to defeat one of his classmates."

The old man's feelings were complicated as well. Uchiha Kyo was his grandson, after all. Though he was not a Genius, he was still far superior to those commoners. How could he be so reckless just to defeat a classmate, daring to steal medicine without even understanding its effects?

And in the end, not only had he lost the match, he had lost his life! The clan even had to pay compensation because he had deliberately injured someone! Even as an Elder of the Uchiha Clan, he could not cover up such disgrace.

"Which clan was it!"

The old man said sternly, "This matter ends here! Everything that happened to Kyo was the result of his own actions! You must not stir up further trouble! Otherwise, our branch will lose every shred of prestige within the clan!"

But Uchiha Setsuna would not accept that at all. Uchiha Kyo was his biological younger brother—his only younger brother. He could not just die like this!

"If you won't tell me, I'll investigate it myself! I'll make him pay the price!" Uchiha Setsuna roared before slamming the door and leaving.

That action enraged the old man so much that he spat out a mouthful of blood! The plan he had painstakingly operated for years was about to be ruined by those two unlucky children!

His only goal was to follow in Madara Uchiha's footsteps and restore the Uchiha Clan's former glory. But if those two fools brought shame upon the clan again and again, his position as an Elder might very well be stripped away!

"Why is my life so miserable!"

His son and daughter-in-law were dead, leaving behind these two children. Not only were their talents mediocre, but neither of them had much sense. This old man, with one foot already in the grave, was the only one left supporting their branch, yet in his old age, he might still lose the good reputation he had built over a lifetime!

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became, until he spat out another mouthful of old blood!
