Fortunately, Torikaze had not needed to come out of seclusion. It seemed everyone's silent prayers outside had worked.

Tsunade emerged with a smile, followed by the Inuzuka clan head, a woman in her forties.

There was a scar at the corner of her eye, and her gaze was as sharp and fierce as that of a ravenous wolf.

But when she saw the clan heads waiting outside, she finally smiled as well.

"Sorry to make everyone worry. Thanks to Princess Tsunade, Black Wolf is all right now."

A hospital bed pushed by a nurse came out with them as well.

Lying on it was a massive black ninja hound, more than twice the size of an ordinary dog.

It lay quietly on the bed. When the Inuzuka clan head stroked its head, it even let out soft whimpers. It looked nothing like the beast that had fought two Kage-level enemies, obedient to the extreme.

Tsunade spoke up then. "Black Wolf's injuries are all superficial. They only looked frightening. Its internal organs and bones were not seriously hurt, so treatment was relatively simple."

Then she turned and instructed the Inuzuka clan head, "But training is absolutely out of the question for the next month. It must rest quietly. No running or jumping, and no major emotional fluctuations."

The Inuzuka clan head carefully committed every word Tsunade said to memory, intending to follow the doctor's orders strictly while caring for Black Wolf.

"Well, as long as Black Wolf is fine. What a brave ninja hound."

The Inuzuka clan head stroked Black Wolf's head with pride and relief. "Yes. If it hadn't been there, that wound would have been on my stomach."

The ninja hound had suffered such severe injuries, but even after losing its ability to fight, it still had its owner.
