Amado's Resentment

Torikaze looked up at the office. At some point, Amado had already left.

It was five o'clock, which meant An'hua should be getting off work.

A qualified leader would not be harsh with their employees' rest time. "All right, An'hua. Thank you for your hard work today. This proposal is already perfect and can protect everyone's interests."

"Tomorrow, make a few copies and send people to deliver them to the Tsuchikage and Kazekage. I believe they should be satisfied with the plan we've proposed."

An'hua was also very happy. Helping Lord Hokage and the village resolve such an important task gave her a sense of accomplishment that nothing else could compare to.

"It is all thanks to Lord Hokage. I merely contributed a small amount."

An'hua was being far too modest. When it came to aquaculture, Torikaze had merely laid out a broad framework. An'hua had helped fill in all the remaining details.

It could be said that her contribution was enormous. Naturally, Torikaze would not deny her credit just because she was being modest.

"Don't say that. I've seen all your contributions. There's no room for you to advance further in terms of position, so I can only reward you materially."

"I'll have the finance department issue you a bonus later. In addition, you will receive twenty percent of Konoha's annual profits from aquaculture."

Torikaze's reward was no small one. Giving An'hua twenty percent of Konoha's aquaculture profits meant assets worth at least several million, perhaps even tens of millions!

That would almost certainly allow her wealth to surpass that of her Nara Clan family within a few years.

Her status and standing would naturally rise as well.

An'hua was stunned when she heard that. "How can I accept this, Lord Hokage? I truly cannot accept it!"
