"Is Biwako still my wife in this world? Or did I choose another woman?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi suddenly asked.

Torikaze had no idea what he meant, so he simply replied, "Yes, it's sister-in-law Biwako."

Upon hearing that, Torikaze had expected Hiruzen to be disappointed, but instead, he saw him smile.

"Good. Biwako has toiled alongside me for half her life, and both versions of Hiruzen Sarutobi chose her. That must be the fate meant for us."

It was quite a coincidence. Hiruzen Sarutobi seemed to have started courting Biwako very early on, and nearly forty years had passed in the blink of an eye.
