Great Dao: More Outsiders?
The Chaos sea is boundless and limitless.
There was only flowing gray air currents and Chaos bubbles floating in the void above.
Each bubble is a Chaos World in a vast and boundless ocean of Chaos.
In a certain void, two figures awaken.
Tai Ming slowly opened his eyes. He sensed the state of his body and frowned slightly. He had only recovered to 80% of his cultivation level.
Beside him, Jin Ge also opened his eyes.
"Fellow Tai Ming, how well have you recovered your strength?"
"Only 80% has been recovered."
Tai Ming's voice came through, his expression grave, "Time is running out."
Jin Ge nodded.
Although they concealed their presence while healing, the people of the Primordial Chaos Realm were still searching for them, and the longer they stayed, the greater the risk of being exposed.
More importantly, there was that priceless treasure.
If the order is delayed because it was personally given by the Venerable Lord, not only will there be no credit, but one's life may also be in danger.
"Walk."
Tai Ming didn't waste any words and stood up directly.
He raised his hand and made a sweeping motion in the air, and a Space Rift appeared before him.
Jin Ge followed closely behind, and the two entered one after the other.
Then the Space Rift slowly closed.
Before long, several figures landed in this void.
There were five people in total, led by a middle-aged man in a black robe with long, flowing hair and a stern face.
A crimson vertical line between his eyebrows was slowly opening, revealing a crimson divine eye!
Chi Feng's divine eye scanned the surroundings, its crimson light piercing through the Chaos air currents, exploring the area inside and out several times.
Suddenly, he frowned. "Hmm? That's strange..."
"What's wrong?" a young man in white robes asked, his tone tinged with impatience.
This man was handsome, but there seemed to be a fierce look between his brows; his name was Bai Ye.
Chi Feng didn't answer immediately; his divine eye continued to scan the area, "I sensed a brief fluctuation of energy here just now, so faint it was almost imperceptible, but it definitely existed. But now... it's gone."
Bai Ye chuckled, "Chi Feng, aren't you being too sensitive? The Chaos Sea is so vast, it's perfectly normal for there to be occasional abnormal fluctuations in the Chaos airflow."
"Our most important task now is to find Tai Ming and Jin Ge! That was a direct order from the Venerable Lord himself. If we don't find them, we'll all die!"
Chi Feng slowly turned his head, his cold gaze falling on Bai Ye's face. "Here, it's not your place to order me around."
"You!" Bai Ye roared in fury, his body surging with white light.
That's enough.
A languid female voice rang out.
The speaker was the only woman among the five, dressed in blood-red clothes, with a charming face but eyes like a venomous snake.
Hong Luan stepped forward and stood between the two. "Gentlemen, the Venerable Lord's orders are for us to find Tai Ming and Jin Ge, as well as that supreme treasure. Not for us to fight amongst ourselves here."
She looked at Chi Feng: "Chi Feng, are you sure that aura was left behind by Tai Ming and the others?"
Chi Feng remained silent for a moment, then slowly shook his head. "It can't be completely certain. But within a radius of tens of millions of miles, only this one place has shown unusual fluctuations. If it were them, they should have already gone far away by now."
"Then chase them!" Bai Ye sneered. "They can't get very far!"
Hong Luan shook her head. "It's not that simple. Even if Tai Ming is injured, his control over space far surpasses ours. If he hides himself completely, it will be very difficult for us to track him down."
Chi Feng pondered for a moment, glanced around, and said, "Continue searching."
The five people transformed into streaks of light and disappeared into the depths of Chaos.
Unbeknownst to them, shortly after they left, another group quietly arrived, also searching for Tai Ming and Jin Ge.
Meanwhile, on the other edge of the Chaos Sea...
"Sizzle--"
Space Rift appeared, and two figures staggered out from it.
Tai Ming's face paled slightly, clearly indicating that the long-distance traversal had taken a toll.
Jin Ge let out a muffled groan, and golden blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.
"Arrive."
Tai Ming said breathlessly, his gaze fixed ahead.
This is the place that the Saint Lord Cangwu mentioned.
Jin Ge followed his gaze and saw a desolate place.
Looking out, the Chaos air currents were so thin they were almost nonexistent; this place was like the end of Chaos sea, a void.
In the center of this void, a Chaos bubble floats.
The bubble was about a hundred feet tall, its surface shimmering with iridescent light, a stark contrast to the surrounding deathly darkness.
But what truly shocked Jin Ge was the size of the bubbles.
Ordinary Chaos bubbles are no more than ten feet long, and the larger ones are only twenty or thirty feet long.
But this one in front of us is a full hundred feet tall!
"This... how is this possible?" Jin Ge muttered to himself, "How can there be such a vast Chaos World on the edge of the Chaos Sea?"
Tai Ming's expression was also solemn. "It's precisely because this place is remote that it was discovered by other powerful individuals long ago."
He walked up to the bubble, reached out his hand, and gently pressed it against the surface.
Suddenly, an invisible barrier appeared and pushed his hand away.
Complex Great Dao Rune flowed across the barrier, seemingly protecting the bubble.
"Hmm?" Tai Ming raised an eyebrow. "Is the world's consciousness inside rebelling against me?"
Tai Ming scoffed, "A mere barrier of the Great Dao's rules dares to try and stop me?"
Even with only 80% of his power, he is still a peak-level being in the Great Dao Realm!
"Snort."
Tai Ming let out a low shout, and a flash of light appeared in his hand, revealing once again the Long Spear that had accompanied him in countless battles across the Chaos eras.
The moment the spear tip touched the barrier, the Great Dao Rune on the barrier began to tremble violently.
"Snap!"
The sound of shattering glass rang out, and a fist-sized hole was pierced through the barrier. Ice crystals rapidly spread along the edge of the hole, gradually shattering the surrounding barrier.
The hole rapidly expanded, forming a vortex.
"Walk."
Tai Ming sheathed his Long Spear and transformed into a streak of black light, plunging into the vortex.
Jin Ge followed closely behind, transforming into golden light and disappearing into the void.
After the two entered, the vortex slowly contracted and eventually disappeared.
The surface of the bubble returned to its original state.
Inside the bubble Chaos World.
In an unknown space, where wisps of purple mist floated, the consciousness of the Great Dao suddenly awakened.
Just now, it sensed that outsiders had entered this world.
"Another outsider?"
Immediately afterward, its consciousness left this space.
"This is... this world?" Jin Ge looked around, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
The space was filled with a violent, Chaos aura; it was hazy and impossible to see any direction.
"Let's go, time is of the essence."
Tai Ming had no interest in watching; his mind was solely focused on his mission.
Just as the two were about to set off, a sudden change occurred!
A flash of light appeared in the void, and a gigantic eye appeared above them.
"This is... the Eye of the Great Dao?"
The two exchanged a glance and instantly understood.
The Eye of the Great Dao revealed a human-like expression, staring intently at them.
A mechanical, authoritative voice resounded directly in Tai Ming and Jin Ge's minds:
"Those who are not of the Chaos... are not permitted to enter..."
