The Primordial Chaos Realm, the Star Sea Realm.

The Saint Lord Cangwu suddenly opened his eyes. He raised his right hand, and the three Jade Token that had been floating in his palm were now shattered into dust.

"Failed again..."

His face was grim.

These three luck tokens belonged to Xing Yun and his two companions.

Before leaving, he deliberately infused a trace of their life essence into the fortune card to determine whether they were still alive.

Now, the cards are broken.

This indicates that they have already perished.

The Saint Lord Cangwu quickly rose and strode out of the palace to report to the Venerable Lord. Along the way, the guards all knelt down, not daring to raise their heads.

The palace of the Zi Yu Venerable Saint is located in the deepest part of the Star Sea Realm. The entire palace is made from a single piece of void crystal jade formed at the beginning of the Primordial Chaos, and its whole body flows with purple-gold light.

Around the palace, nine chains formed from the laws of nature hung down from the void.

"Your Venerable Lord, Cang Wu requests an audience."

Cang Wu stopped in front of the palace gate and bowed in respect.

After a moment of silence, a calm voice came from inside the palace. "Come in."

The gates swung open, Cang Wu entered. The Zi Yu Venerable Saint sat cross-legged on a high platform, surrounded by thirteen halos of different colors, each representing a rule of heaven and earth.

"Has the person we sent to find that thing returned?"

Zi Yu knew what was going on just by looking at Cang Wu's expression.

Cang Wu took a deep breath and knelt on one knee. "Reporting to the Venerable Lord, all the men I sent have perished."

The air inside the hall suddenly froze.

"Three Great Dao Realm can't even handle a bunch of ants?" Zi Yu's face instantly darkened. "Truly useless."

Cang Wu lowered his head even further, not daring to reply.

"If it weren't for my fear of those two old geezers, I would have taken action myself long ago."

Zi Yu slowly rose to his feet, and the thirteen halos of light then receded into his body.

He walked up to Cang Wu, looking down at him, and said, "Cang Wu."

"Your subordinate is here."

"This time, you will go in person." Zi Yu's voice was as cold as ice. "If you fail again, you don't need to come see me again."

Cang Wu's heart tightened, and he solemnly kowtowed. "Yes, Your Venerable Lord! Your subordinate will certainly live up to your expectations and bring the treasure back!"

Just then, a commotion arose outside the palace, followed by a guard's trembling voice reporting through the gate, "Your Venerable Lord! Venerable Saint Yu Qi and Venerable Saint Kan Tuanzi have arrived at the reception hall!"

Zi Yu frowned almost imperceptibly.

Yu Qi?

Kan Tuanzi?

Why would these two old folks suddenly visit at this time?

He walked straight out of the palace, and Cang Wu got up and followed Zi Yu towards the reception hall.

Inside the spacious hall, two figures stood leisurely.

The man on the left is dressed in a moon-white robe, with a refined and scholarly appearance, and holds a jade-shaped folding fan. He is none other than the Venerable Saint Yu Qi.

The man on the right was burly, with a bare upper body covered in dark red patterns, and his red hair was as flamboyant as flames. Kan Tuanzi, who was known for his rage.

At their feet lay more than ten corpses, all of whom were their guards.

The remaining dozens of guards in the hall, armed with weapons, formed a semicircle, but none dared to step forward, merely watching the two of them warily.

"Put down your weapons."

Zi Yu spoke calmly.

The guards quickly withdrew.

The Zi Yu Venerable Saint gave Cang Wu a wink.

Cang Wu understood, and with a wave of his right hand, a dark blue flame swept out, quickly turning the corpses on the ground into dust, even evaporating their blood.

"Yu Qi, Brother Kan Tuanzi," Zi Yu said with a smile, "What rare guests! My men were ignorant of etiquette and offended you both. I apologize on their behalf."

Yu Qi Venerable Saint snapped open his folding fan, shook it twice, and chuckled, "Brother Zi Yu, you flatter us. We were just passing by and wanted to catch up, but we didn't expect your guards to be so conscientious, insisting on stopping us. A small punishment to teach a lesson, Brother Zi Yu, you won't mind, will you?"

Kan Tuanzi grinned and said, "Yeah, Brother Zi Yu, we just wanted to have some fun, but who would have thought they'd be so weak? They got hurt so easily... heh."

He shrugged, but his eyes were full of mockery.

A cold glint flashed in Zi Yu's eyes, then he laughed heartily, "You two are right, they were simply unskilled and deserve to die."

He waved his hand, "You may all leave."

The guards quickly withdrew from the hall, leaving only the three of them.

"Sit."

Zi Yu took the lead and sat down in the main seat. Yu Qi and Kan Tuanzi exchanged a glance and then sat down on either side.

"Serve tea!"

A waiter entered from outside and served Primordial Chaos Lingcha, its aroma filling the air and containing the essence of stars.

But none of the three touched their teacups.

"What brings you two here so suddenly?"

Zi Yu picked up the teacup, gently blew on the tea foam, and asked.

Yu Qi closed his folding fan and said seriously, "I have been in seclusion for countless epochs. Recently, I had some thoughts and broke out of seclusion. I thought I hadn't seen my old friend for a long time, so I came to catch up. What, Brother Zi Yu, don't you welcome me?"

Zi Yu took a sip of tea. "I've been in seclusion healing my injuries. That battle back then damaged my very essence, and it hasn't healed yet. I'm so glad that you two have the time to come see me."

Kan Tuanzi, being straightforward and unwilling to beat around the bush, said gruffly, "Brother Zi Yu, I heard from my men that you seem to be looking for something lately? That's not fair. We were brothers who fought side by side back in the day. If you need anything, just say the word, and I'll definitely help you."

Yu Qi chimed in, "Indeed. But then again, at our level, there probably aren't many things that could interest Brother Zi Yu, right? Aside from those few treasures from back then?"

Zi Yu paused slightly in her tea-serving hand.

After a moment, Zi Yu put down his teacup, his smile unchanged, "You two are overthinking it. I was merely recovering from my injuries and had my men search for some healing spiritual roots. It's nothing to mention."

Yu Qi and Kan Tuanzi exchanged a glance, clearly disbelieving.

"Alas," Yu Qi sighed, "Brother Zi Yu, you are too kind. In that battle back then, if I hadn't separated a wisp of my primordial spirit and hidden it deep in the void beforehand, I would probably have been completely annihilated. How could I have the opportunity to sit here today and enjoy tea with you two?"

When the battle from back then was mentioned, all three men's expressions became more solemn.

Kan Tuanzi also said in a deep voice, "The power of that Primordial Chaos Supreme Treasure is indeed beyond imagination. Luo Li and Dao Tian alone killed five of our Venerable Saint and severely injured us. If their origins hadn't been shattered at the end, rendering them unable to fight any longer, I'm afraid..."

The scene from that year involuntarily surfaced in Zi Yu's mind.

Back then, the seven Venerable Saint Luo Li and Dao Tian. The battle lasted for countless epochs, Primordial Chaos Shattered and destroying the rules.

In the end, the five Venerable Saint perished, he and Kan Tuanzi were seriously injured, and Luo Li and Dao Tian also lost their origins and disappeared with their treasures.

A spectacular battle, but in the end, it all came to nothing.

Worse still, the great battle caused nearly two-thirds of the Primordial Chaos Realm to collapse. They joined forces to intercept a small portion of the Primordial Chaos Origin, barely managing to stabilize a part of it.

The Primordial Chaos Realm is now only one-third of its original size.

Those shattered parts have long since evolved into countless Chaos World, scattered throughout the boundless Chaos sea.

Yu shook his head, a look of melancholy on his face. "If we hadn't exhausted most of our original power to stabilize Primordial Chaos back then, our injuries wouldn't have dragged on until today. Now, it's still unknown how long this Primordial Chaos Realm can last."

A flash of anger crossed Yu Qi's eyes. "Those two madmen Luo Li and Dao Tian! They'd rather destroy their own origins than hand over the supreme treasure! Now their primordial spirits are annihilated, and the supreme treasure is nowhere to be found. It's truly hateful!"

He stared at Zi Yu and said, "Brother Zi Yu, if you really discover any clues, you can't keep them to yourself. That treasure is related to the survival of the Primordial Chaos, and it's also related to whether you and I can advance further. Wasn't it for this that the seven of us joined forces back then?"

Zi Yu smiled faintly, "Yu Qi, you flatter me. If I have any clues, I will inform you both immediately."

Having said all that, there's no point in probing any further.

Yu Qi stood up, cupped his hands in greeting, and said, "In that case, I won't bother you any longer, Brother Zi Yu, farewell."

Kan Tuanzi also stood up, giving Zi Yu a deep look. "I hope Brother Zi Yu will remember my words today."

The two turned around and walked outside.

The smile on Zi Yu's face slowly faded, and his eyes turned cold.

Cang Wu walked in and cautiously began, "My Venerable Lord, they seem to be..."

"They've become suspicious," Zi Yu said. "Suspend all operations and we'll discuss this further later."

"Yes!"

Cang Wu bowed and replied.

"The whereabouts of that item must never be known to them. Once things have calmed down, you will go there in person. Remember, this time you must succeed; failure is not an option."

"Understood!"

Zi Yu waved his hand, Cang Wu understood, respectfully stepping back.

"The Primordial Chaos Supreme Treasure..."

Zi Yu muttered to himself, a slight smile playing on his lips, "No one can take it from me."

He clenched his fist, then got up and left.

Meanwhile, outside the Star Sea Realm.

Yu Qi and Kan Tuanzi stopped there.

Do you think he's telling the truth?

Kan Tuanzi frowned and asked.

Yu Qi shook his head. "Half true, half false. He is indeed looking for something, but it's definitely not some healing elixir."

You mean...?

Kan Tuanzi's pupils contracted.

"He may have already discovered clues to those two priceless treasures from back then, or even... obtained something."

A glint flashed in Yu Qi's eyes. "That old fox, he's always two-faced. During the great battle back then, he hid at the back and suffered the least injuries. This time, he's definitely up to something again."

Kan Tuanzi snorted coldly, "Then what do we do? Just charge in and search?"

"No." Yu Qi shook his head. "Our strength has not yet recovered. We can't guarantee he doesn't have a backup plan. Forcing our way in would come at too high a price."

He paused, then continued, "Go back first and have your men keep a close eye on the movements in the Star Sea Realm, especially Cang Wu's whereabouts. Whatever Zi Yu wants to do, definitely let him handle it; he's the most trusted of Zi Yu's Holy Lords."

Kan Tuanzi nodded. "Alright, let's go."

The two figures vanished into the void.
