Nature and Status

True Saints are supreme beings who have undergone a qualitative transformation in their life level. Their accumulated foundations may become Supreme Rules entrusted to the Supernatural Center, making veteran Saints exceptionally difficult to kill permanently. 1164

They normally reside in the Beyond the World or within their own Dao fields and rarely manifest in the Supernatural Great Universe. Their direct appearance can overwhelm ordinary supernatural practitioners with terror and pressure. 895 871

A Saint’s presence can be impossible to look upon safely. When Dao Saint descended, practitioners who stared at the sacred radiance suffered burst eyes and bleeding, while his pressure immobilized the surrounding starfield. 871

Ascension and Tribulation

Each epoch sees several practitioners enter the True Saint domain after passing their tribulations, though new Saints and those who perish in Saint-level calamities are usually comparable in number. 1021

A documented True Saint tribulation may involve the following:

• A Great Dao Vortex connected to the Supernatural Light Sea, capable of decomposing matter, contraband fragments, and Saint remains. 1031
• A Mortal World tribulation, in which the candidate must confront and repay debts from a previous life. 1031

Saintly Pressure

A True Saint’s aura can suppress beings across a vast area before direct combat even begins.

• Dao Saint forced Wu Dao and other practitioners to kneel in the starry sky under his pressure. 871
• A Heavenly Grade practitioner who mentally questioned whether Dao Saint was a “False Saint” exploded along with her Exotic Treasure Armor. 871
• Dao Saint’s gaze destroyed Anomalous Being Xitian’s manifested eyes and later shattered his massive materialized head with a finger strike. 871

Supreme Rules and Resurrection

Long-lived True Saints leave Dao Principles throughout the world, granting them a form of persistence beyond the destruction of a single body.

• Killing a True Saint requires erasing all Dao Principles they have left behind; merely destroying their manifested body is insufficient. 1164

True Saint Dojos and Influence

True Saints establish or oversee Dao fields with exceptionally deep foundations. These dojos gather rare scriptures, sacred artifacts, Anomalous Beings, and candidates with exceptional potential. 895

True Saints are particularly interested in people who cross the Supernatural Light Sea from remote universes.

• Such survivors are considered to have endured a “great elimination of death” and may possess unusual potential. 895

Old Saints

The Old Saints were a powerful ancient group that disappeared around the eighteenth epoch. They reportedly attempted to create an eternal Supernatural World to avoid the hardships caused by the migration of the Supernatural Center; this effort may have contributed to their downfall. 1074

Their legacy persists through remnants, scriptures, diagrams, and sacred artifacts.

• The Old Saint’s Study Diagram contained two revived Old Saint-era figures and served as a foundation of the Tattoo Palace before Wang Xuan destroyed it. 1114 1115
