Zhong Qing is Zhong Yong’s great-granddaughter and Zhong Cheng’s elder sister. She first approaches Wang Xuan as the representative of New Star, a youth-oriented organization that recruits exceptional people; she offers to evaluate his strength and proposes the Serpent Crane Eight Scattered Hands as a reward for participating. Wang Xuan declines the offer. 69 70

Her family’s resources make her a significant figure among the Zaibatsu descendants. The Zhong Family has a major stake in the development of Super Material Armor, and Zhong Qing immediately recognizes both the armor and its wearer—her younger brother—during Wang Xuan’s confrontation with the assembled factions. 77 89
