Obito's Resentment

Feng Ye's every movement had been under Obito's watchful eye.

When he saw Feng Ye close his eyes, stop looking at him, and even have his eyelids twitch a few times as if he were deliberately provoking him, he could not help clenching his fists.

Ino Yamanaka nodded. "Mm-hmm. Feng Ye, don't mind him. A ninja like your little brother only comes along once in who knows how many years. There's no need to compare yourself to Kakashi."

Kurenai Yuhi nodded in agreement as well.

As long as he was not compared to a "monster" like Kakashi, Feng Ye was already an outstanding genius in this class. There was nothing to criticize about him at all.

The person sitting in the corner was Hokumon Hyuga, the nephew of clan head Hyuga Hiashi and one of the Branch Family's members.

Just as Hokumon Hyuga was pondering this, the final student completed the Clone Technique practice test. The Chunin instructor recorded the final result, glanced at the score sheet, and spoke.

"Today's test is over."

"The ones who failed are Obito Uchiha, Aburame Tadan, and... You few, step up your practice after class."

"There will be another mock test tomorrow, so be prepared. The official promotion assessment is in four days. Those who fail to pass will remain at the academy for remedial lessons during winter break until they can pass the assessment!"

As the Chunin instructor finished speaking, quite a few students in the classroom let out long breaths.

Obito Uchiha and the others who had failed the test had rather dark expressions. Naturally, no one wanted winter break remedial lessons. Not only would they lose their vacation, but more importantly, it would be humiliating.

The Chunin instructor put the score sheet into a folder, organized it, and addressed the students in the classroom.
