Scale II: Time Reversal
Feng Ye pushed open the door and entered his home.
Kakashi was not home. He was most likely out on a mission with Minato Namikaze and had not returned yet.
After walking into his bedroom, Feng Ye casually took the stack of mission payment from his pocket and tossed it onto the table. Then he immediately sat down and closed his eyes.
He had not gone straight to the meeting point indicated by Hiruzen Sarutobi. On one hand, he had returned to put away the mission payment. More importantly, while at the mission office, he had heard a mechanical chime!
"Finally..."
After closing his eyes, Feng Ye calmed the emotions in his heart.
A massive, illusory golden clock appeared before him. He could clearly see that the hour hand pointed at two o'clock, and the Roman numeral 'II' representing two was no longer shrouded in mist. It had become clear and distinct, glinting with a faint dark sheen.
Feng Ye drew a breath. Rather than eagerly using his new Time-based ability, he first tried activating Time Acceleration.

Accompanied by the mechanical sound of a clock hand moving, the hand on the Phantom Clock shifted and pointed once more to one o'clock.
Under Feng Ye's will, the dial at the center of the Phantom Clock began to turn with a series of clicks, finally stopping at the fourth mark.

"It increased by another factor... Just as I expected, the range of Time Acceleration I can control gains another mark every year."
Feng Ye let out a soft breath.
If he used the third gate of the Eight Inner Gates, the Gate of Life, while at quadruple speed, even Kage-level experts would have difficulty catching him. Killing Jonin would become even easier.
