The moment that beam of dark light appeared in the sky, Lisanna and Mira directly below it were both overwhelmed by the same fearful thought.

Although neither of them could use magic, even from this distance, they could still feel the terror of that darkness.

It was as though they were tiny boats amid raging waves, seemingly about to be destroyed by the wind and surf at any moment and overturned by the enormous swells.
