Holding the request form for Subdue the Beast King, Mira headed downstairs and found Makarov.
Makarov took Mira's request form and glanced at it, his expression gradually turning grave. He said seriously, "Mira, it's still a little too early for you to take on this task. You..."
"Enough already, Master! I'm leaving!"
Mira cut Makarov off, snatched back the request form, and ran straight out of the guild.
Makarov stood up and called after Mira's retreating figure, "Hey! Mira, wait!"
Watching Mira run off without even looking back, Makarov sighed. In his judgment, Mira had only just become an S-Class Mage, so taking on this request really was a little premature.
There would be no problem if it were Laxus or Mystogan. Erza might barely be able to complete it as well, but Mira would likely end up in danger.
"Don't worry, Master."
Just then, Feng Ye's voice came from nearby.
Makarov turned his head and saw Feng Ye coming down from the second floor. He ordered a glass of juice at the bar, then looked in the direction Mira had disappeared outside the guild.
Feng Ye smiled faintly. "Last year, I thought Mira was too impulsive and not yet qualified to become an S-Class Mage. Even this year, she was still a little lacking, yet I didn't expect you to let her pass anyway. I think she needs to go through something before she can truly grow."
"That may be true, but..."
