Dressed in a regal prince's robe, Lei Xiang once again arrived at the center of power in the Orc Empire. He was now a highly esteemed prince of the empire.

Although Lei Xiang had not spent long undercover in the Dragon God Empire, he had learned a great deal. After returning to the Orc Empire, he attempted to establish the Beast God Sect as a unified faith, helping the Beast Emperor establish order throughout the nation and centralize his rule.

What he had done was indeed beneficial to the Orc Empire as a whole, and it also gave the Beast Emperor a better means of establishing his rule. Thus, the Beast Emperor spared no effort in supporting and winning over Lei Xiang, granting him immense authority and an exalted status.

The Beast Emperor had personally accepted Lei Xiang as his adopted son. He had even sent his own half-Lion-Orc son, whom he had intended to name as his heir, to serve under Lei Xiang, and had further bestowed upon Lei Xiang the title of prince.

As things stood, Lei Xiang held tremendous power and influence within the Orc Empire. His status was nearly as revered as that of his father, Beamon King Leo.

Of course, the Beast Emperor could not possibly trust Lei Xiang completely. Sending his son to follow Lei Xiang was, on one hand, a sign of appreciation, but on the other, a way to divide his authority and keep watch over him. Naming Lei Xiang a prince had also cut off his chance of succeeding as Behemoth King, eliminating the possibility that the Behemoth Clan might seize the throne.

However, Lei Xiang was not particularly aware of such calculations—or rather, he did not particularly care, because his ambitions did not
