119 Ms. Belinda
The new students of the Elf Academy, who returned safely to Castleton City, all had a few days of enjoyable vacation.
Of course, the later the new students return, the shorter their vacation will be.
The elf students with creative assignments also need to finalize their works. For example, Klayr will be very busy for the next three days, not only organizing her sketches but also finalizing her Malaga Jungle Travelogue, as well as her Stone Sculpture and music.
The new students start school next Monday, which means Roy has three full days of vacation left.
Klayr hurriedly boarded the Long Carriage, hastily said goodbye to Roy, and returned to the Upper District.
Roy waited for the long-awaited carriage from the Lower District, and it wasn't until all the members of Lower District Sixteen had left that the Long Carriage finally arrived. But being late was better than walking back.
Roy quickly stood by the roadside and waved to the Long Carriage.
The carriage stopped, Roy quickly climbed into the carriage...
Returning to Castleton City, seeing the street vendors and shops on both sides, smelling the faint scent of the sea, and hearing the bustling sounds of the market, Roy suddenly felt a sense of home in his heart.
In Roy's mind, the wooden house on Brown Street used to be more like Sea View Room in front of a beach. He always thought of himself as a time traveler who was out of place in this world. Maybe one day he would wake up and find himself lying in a college dormitory, and everything here would probably be like a dream he could not remember.
His usual happy life consisted of fishing, strolling along the beach, and occasionally taking a swim in the sea.
All of this has changed...
It all started after he entered the Elf Academy, and more things happened in those two months than he had in the previous year.
Returning from the Malaga Jungle, Roy suddenly found himself with a strange longing for Brown Street. At that moment, dragging his exhausted body, all he wanted was to get home as soon as possible, take a shower, and get a good night's sleep...
The familiar sea breeze, skuas flying to and fro on the sea, and flying Flying Fish Boat preparing to dock.
The Cross Street Intersection of Brown Street remained unchanged. Roy glanced habitually at Mrs. Mrs. Winnie's Potion Shop, where the Night Blade Leopard was hiding under the bushes and low wall, glaring angrily at him.
Roy waved to the Night Blade Leopard and, carrying his bag, slowly made his way towards his front door.
The Night Blade Leopard yawned, turned around, and burrowed into its den.
Roy returned safely from the Magala Jungle, having completed his outdoor practice course. Of course, the happiest person was Ms. Belinda. Hearing someone open the gate at the courtyard entrance, Ms. Belinda came out of the second-floor studio. As soon as she stepped onto the second-floor terrace, she saw Roy body was almost entirely covered in patches, carrying his luggage and slowly walking into the courtyard.
Seeing Ms. Belinda wiping away tears on the second-floor terrace, Roy threw his luggage at his feet and waved to the woman by the railing upstairs.
"I'm back!"
Ms. Belinda immediately turned around, ran down from the terrace, pushed open the door, rushed out, and hugged Roy tightly in her arms.
Although Roy is already as tall as her...
"Roy, you must have suffered a lot in the Magala Jungle! I didn't even know you had to wear leather armor to enter the jungle," Ms. Belinda said sadly.
"Actually, it's not that we absolutely have to wear leather armor. If we're taking the path along the river, we won't need it." Roy put one arm around Ms. Belinda's shoulder and carried their luggage in the other, as they walked into the house. "Come and see what I found on this trip to the Malaga Jungle. You'll never guess what I found..."
Moira leaned over the courtyard wall, tilting her head as she watched Roy and Ms. Belinda enter the house, before quietly retreating back inside.
Besides the marble he found in the castle, Roy also took out his half of the Petrification Lizard skin and excitedly told Ms. Belinda how lucky he was to have found a dead lizard in the jungle, and how he was just waiting to take it to the Leather Workshop to make a decent set of Hard Leather Armor.
This made Ms. Belinda feel both gratified and heartbroken...
During the month he was away from home, Roy didn't spend all his time sunbathing at the beach, and his skin actually became a bit fairer.
Roy hurriedly ran into the bathroom, took a shower, changed into a linen outfit, and came out of the room while drying his wet hair.
The gifts Roy brought back from the Malaga Jungle included a marble carving and berries that could only be found in the jungle.
Ms. Belinda was sitting at the dining table, carefully savoring the berries that were somewhat blueberry-colored.
She always likes to make herself a cup of fruit tea when she eats.
You don't need a lot of things, but they must be exquisite enough.
The same applies to the gifts she likes; the gifts don't need to be very expensive, but they must show that she puts a lot of thought into them.
"... So, the art exhibition is going to be postponed indefinitely, and the Art Gallery has nothing else to do?"
"I can take a break for a while. I plan to create a few more pieces and then take Buenos to try my luck. Maybe an Art Gallery will like this style of sculpture," Ms. Belinda said somewhat helplessly.
After her job at the Art Gallery fell through, she became unemployed again.
Although she still had some savings, she couldn't just sit around and do nothing. And since there was only one Art Gallery in Castleton City, taking her works to Buenos was a last resort.
Buenos is the royal city of the Silver Moon Elf, a central city that integrates culture, art, military, and commerce, where you will indeed have more opportunities.
"Roy, would you like to live in Buenos for a while? I'll help you find a new Elf Academy." Ms. Belinda held her teacup and stared at Roy.
Roy didn't really want to leave Castleton, not only because his studies at the Elf Academy would be interrupted, but also because he would be unable to continue his Novice Priest at the Goddess of Freedom Temple.
He hesitated for a moment before saying, "Um, do we really have to go to Buenos? Actually, I can take care of myself by myself in Castleton. Once you've settled down there, I can go there during the start of the new semester. If I go to Buenos with you now, all the courses I've taken this semester will be for nothing."
Ms. Belinda didn't really have any ideas.
Upon hearing Roy say that he couldn't bear to give up his courses at the Elf Academy, Ms. Belinda also paused her plan to move to Buenos. Somewhat annoyed, she ruffled her curly hair with her hand, got up and went upstairs. Just before she closed the door to her studio, a voice came from upstairs. "I'll think about it some more. Maybe there's still a chance at the Art Gallery here!"
In fact, Roy did not object to Ms. Belinda going to Buenos; he was even somewhat looking forward to it.
This makes daily life more free.
Moreover, the salary that the Goddess of Freedom Temple pays him each week is enough for his normal daily expenses.
"Actually, you don't need to worry about me at all. I'll be doing well in my classes at the Elf Academy, and I'll even be able to cook for myself," Roy shouted from the top of the stairs.
All Roy was met with a loud 'bang'...
The loud slam of the door made the floorboards of the house vibrate.
The next day, Roy didn't rush to take the Petrification Lizard skin to the Leather Workshop for aging. Instead, he went to the Goddess of Freedom Temple early in the morning.
He hasn't received his salary this month, so he's eager to go back to work.
The temple remained as deserted as ever.
Jasper was sitting in the gatehouse by the front door. When Roy walked over, he was praying. He must have had a haircut; even his nails were neatly trimmed. Clearly, men with girlfriends tend to become cleaner than before.
Without disturbing Jasper, Roy pushed open the side door and entered the front yard. Although the yard was cleaned up, it was also incredibly deserted.
Seeing that one of the doors to the main hall of the temple was open, High Priest Reed was praying inside. However, when Roy went outside, he discovered that Abbott was cleaning inside.
He was working so intently that he didn't see Roy at the door.
Roy didn't see High Priest Reed, so he turned and went to the backyard.
Seeing that the door to the Study Room on the second floor was open, Roy quickly went upstairs and sure enough, High Priest Reed was sitting at the round table in the Study Room reading a book.
Roy stood at the door of the Study Room and gently knocked. "Reporting in!"
High Priest Reed looked up at the door and immediately spotted Roy, dressed in the robes of a Novice Priest. A relieved smile spread across his face.
"Roy, you're back! It's good that you're back. Now that you're back, you should calm down and study hard."
"Yes, teacher!"
Roy spoke to High Priest Reed, then went downstairs and ran to the Main Hall to clean with Abbott.
Abbott's first words to Roy were. "Roy, you haven't advanced recently, have you?"
"Not yet... what's wrong?" Roy asked curiously, standing at the door.
Abbott's face immediately lit up with a satisfied smile as he responded:
"No... that's good."
Roy ran to the front door and greeted Jasper, Jasper said something similar to Abbott's.
Roy seized the opportunity to ask him the reason...
Jasper said matter-of-factly:
"At least this way, it won't seem like Abbott and I are useless..."
After saying that, she chuckled and invited him to join her on the Black Pearl again in the evening, adding that the ship had been completely transformed.
Clearly, Abbott and Jasper had spent a lot of time and effort on that ship during this period...
The other Priest Theodore, was still not in the temple. After Roy finished cleaning for Abbott, he went to the Study Room with Abbott and spent the whole afternoon learning the runes of the ' Purification Art ' spell.
Clearly, the divine runes of the Purification Art are far more complex and difficult to understand than those of the ' Minor Healing '.
For the entire afternoon, Roy only remembered to talk about the three divine runes.
"I was like that at first too. Once you've mastered enough Divine Rune, it will become much easier..." Abbott followed behind Roy, trying to comfort her.
Roy quickly replied, "I know all of that, and I have plenty of patience."
The two walked outside the Study Room, just as Jasper walked in from the main entrance. The three of them ran to the dressing room to change their clothes before leaving the Goddess of Freedom Temple and heading towards the Black Pearl on the west side of Castleton Harbour.
