Roy opened his eyes, sat up abruptly in bed, and bumped his forehead against the upper bunk.

'Bang...'

Roy covered his head with his hands, fully awake.

He jumped out of bed, hurriedly put on his boots, and looked up at Klayr sleeping on the upper bunk.

Despite making such a commotion, Klayr wasn't woken up.

Klayr was facing outwards, wrapped in a blanket, curled up.

Roy found it a bit strange...

Lifting a corner of the blanket, I saw that Klayr's face was flushed and she seemed to be breathing rapidly.

It was as if an invisible hand was gripping his throat.

He tried to wake Klayr.

I called out twice, but he didn't respond.

He patted his face again.

It was discovered that taking pictures of the face was completely useless.

By the moonlight streaming in through the window, Roy saw a water glass on the table.

I reached for the water glass and found that it was still more than half full.

However, the ice inside had already melted.

Roy tried to infuse a Holy Light Power into the water, then splashed a glass of water on Klayr's face.

I don't know if it was the effect of the holy light or the cool water...

Klayr was jolted awake.

He opened his eyes, panting heavily, and looked around in a panic, his eyes wide open, asking Roy, "Roy, where are we?"

"On the Nautilus," Roy said.

Klayr propped herself up, grabbed the edge of the bed with both hands, and rolled off.

He was clearly still a little shaken, and after looking around, he remembered the ball that night.

"I just had a dream that I went back to Castleton City, and I even turned ' Bernice ' into a violin piece and held a campus concert at the academy."

Klayr was actually dreaming...

Roy felt a little embarrassed; it seemed he had disturbed Roy's sweet dream.

How did the concert go?

Klayr stared at Roy, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "I dreamt that I was late, and when I rushed to the Music Auditorium, you were standing on the stage..."

"..."

Roy didn't know what to say to comfort him.

They say that what you think about during the day, you dream about at night...

Klayr continued, "... the stage was covered in blood, and the auditorium was empty."

"You were carrying a Bone Club with a skull on it and you tried to hit me, so I ran as fast as I could. All the doors in the auditorium were locked, so I ran and ran in the outer corridor until I was out of breath. I kept running faster and faster and couldn't stop. I could only breathe desperately."

Klayr said, still shaken.

Seeing that Klayr might have encountered a nightmare, Roy condensed a faint ball of holy light from his palm.

With a glimmer of light, Klayr's complexion improved considerably.

"Then what?"

Klayr reached up and touched the water stains on her face, looking at Roy with some confusion, and said, "I felt a wave of seawater surging over me, and I fell into the cold sea, and I woke up immediately."

Roy gave an awkward laugh, "Hey, when I saw you wake up, I poured a glass of water in your face..."

"..."

Roy suddenly noticed that the Divine Light in his palm trembled slightly...

Klayr didn't notice, but Roy sensed it very clearly.

Holy light is not like a candle, where the flame flickers continuously when the wind blows.

As long as Roy steadily transmits the Holy Light Power outwards, even in the fiercest storms, this Divine Light will remain steadily above Roy's head...

The faint light in my palm trembled slightly, clearly affected by something.

Roy put his finger to his lips, making a shushing gesture, and said in a low voice:

"This is not the time to talk about these things. Don't you feel like something's not quite right?"

Klayr, still half-asleep, asked with a blank look:

"What's wrong?"

Roy opened the hatch and glanced into the corridor, which was completely dark.

He immediately and gently closed the door, then said to Klayr:

"Even at night, it's a bit too quiet on the ship."

Klayr immediately perked up. Wearing his pajamas and barefoot, he pressed himself against the door and said to Roy:

"Let's go out and take a look."

"Put on the leather armor..." Roy reminded Klayr.

"Oh!"

The two hurriedly put on their leather armor in the cabin, with Klayr inserting Long Dagger into the buckle of her trousers on the outside of her thigh.

Roy appeared more cautious, immediately slipping the Ironclad Square Shield onto his left arm before pushing open the hatch and entering the corridor.

The corridor was pitch black and unusually quiet.

A Divine Light floated in front of Roy. He took a few steps forward and found that all the Moonstone Magic Lamp on the walls on both sides of the corridor had gone out.

It's worth noting that moonstones actually glow automatically at night.

These magic lamps will naturally light up at night.

But now the moonstone on the wall had completely darkened. Roy walked all the way to the end of the corridor and found that the elven waiter who had delivered the boxed fruit platters to him and Klayr was fast asleep on a small table, with a layer of fine sweat on his forehead.

Judging from his appearance, he seemed to be trapped in a nightmare, unable to wake up.

Roy gently nudged the elven waiter, only to find that, like Klayr, he didn't react at all...

Klayr took a water bottle from her Magic Pouch, untied the cap, poured out some water, and slapped it on the elf waiter's face and forehead, but to no avail.

On the contrary, the elven waiter seemed to have encountered something terrible in a dream, and his expression became ferocious and distorted.

Why isn't he awake?

Klayr asked Roy with some confusion.

Roy poured another glass of water and infused it with a Holy Light Power.

He dipped his hand in the holy water and sprinkled it on the elven attendant's forehead.

Sure enough, the elven waiter shuddered violently, as if he had woken up from a nightmare. He sat up straight and looked around in terror. As his memories gradually returned, his eyes became clearer.

Klayr finally realized that something was wrong.

"Is there anything I can do for you two?"

The elven waiter hurriedly stood up and asked Roy and Klayr.

"We have indeed run into a bit of trouble!"

Klayr patted the still somewhat shaken elf waiter and said.

After saying that, he and Roy exchanged a glance, and the two rushed up the stairs to the deck.

The deck of the Nautilus was quiet, filled with a faint mist carrying the salty smell of the sea...

Just as Roy had guessed, the crew members on night watch on deck had all fallen into a deep sleep. The most dangerous were the crew members on the mainmast Lookout Platform tower. When Roy looked over, half of their bodies were hanging outside the railing of the Lookout Platform tower. If they rolled over even slightly, they would fall from the Lookout Platform, which was more than ten meters high.

The Nautilus was pitch black. The elf waiter, following behind Roy and Klayr, was now trembling with fear...
