Dressed in impeccably tailored aristocratic attire, Hayeier emerged gracefully from the inner hall, one hand behind his back. A gentle smile graced his face as he greeted Klayr and Roy, "Why are you so late? I've been waiting for you for ages..."

Then Hayeier turned around and instructed the elven waitress:

"Leave them to me!"

The elven waitress bowed to Hayeier and said respectfully, "Yes, Young Master Hayel."

This is Roy's second visit to the Inscription Workshop.

Last time Roy came here, he just wanted to check out the market for Magic Inscription Construct and didn't take a close look at the interior of the Inscription Workshop. This time, Roy was much more relaxed as he walked in. He looked up at the four walls.

The entire room looks like a treehouse, with all the walls made of wood without any seams. It can be said that the walls and ceiling are a single piece, as if the craftsman carved them out of the heartwood of a tree. However, the interior decorations are very ornate, and there is even a faint fragrance of wood in the air. It does not feel stuffy at all.

Almost all the treehouses in the Upper District have this characteristic: they don't look very big from the outside, but once you step inside, you'll find that the interior space is almost big enough to fit a football field.

Roy even asked Klayr about this treehouse-style building.

According to Klayr's explanation, this architectural structure involves the magical theory of Dimensional Space, but is slightly different, and could perhaps be called Demiplane.

The magic the elves currently possess is only enough to create Demiplane within the heart of the tree.

This was somewhat difficult for Roy to understand.

In fact, each of the giant treehouses is real, but the door and the room belong to two different trees. Moreover, none of the ancient trees that can open up such huge rooms grow on the Elf Continent. The connection between the two trees involves the Dimensional Space theory and the Demiplane theory.

It is said that only Space Mage can explain these things clearly.

Hayeier stood before the two, appearing polite, and pointed to the exhibition hall inside, saying:

"Please come this way. I'll take you to retrieve the ' Spirit Gathering ' Magic Inscription Construct. Klayr, is the base material for the enchantment ready?"

Klayr glanced at Roy, who nodded slightly, and said, "Yes, I brought it."

Hayeier, accepting defeat, smiled and said, "That's good, so as to avoid having to go through that trouble again."

Upon entering the first exhibition hall, Hayeier did not linger and went straight to the next hall.

"The basic Magic Inscription Construct occupy two exhibition halls. The first hall features low-end basic Magic Inscription Construct, while the second hall displays top-tier basic Magic Inscription Construct Magic Inscription Construct Magic Inscription Construct, such as Stamina Recovery, Spirit Gathering, Mana Catalysis, Soul Thoughts, Great Bear Strength, Grace of Wind," Hayeier explained to Klayr and Roy.

As he spoke, he stopped in front of a display stand, pointed to the Magic Inscription Construct inside, and said to the elven waitress in the exhibition hall, "Please give me this Magic Inscription Construct!"

"Yes!"

The elven waitress immediately came over and opened the glass cover, revealing a soft piece of magic leather with a clear magic rune engraved on it. When Hayeier held the magic leather in his hand, the magic rune glowed with a faint light.

"This is a piece of leather from a level three Sea Magic Beast. Although it's just a scrap, the inscriptionist has skillfully engraved the ' Spirit Gathering ' magic rune on it. Level three sea monster hides have better magic conductivity and fusion properties, and can be attached to any leather armor made of level two magic hides."

Hayeier introduced them to Klayr and Roy.

"Now it's yours!"

Klayr took the magic skin in her hand; the thin magic skin felt extremely soft, almost like silk against her skin.

Hayeier turned to the elven waitress beside him and asked again:

Is Master Jerome in?

The elven waitress said tactfully:

"The teacher has three appointments today..."

Hayeier nodded and asked the elven waitress, "Is the inscriptionist available now?"

The elven waitress immediately ran to a staircase, asked her companion who was guarding it, and then came over to Hayeier and said, "Miss Scarlett just finished a job and is resting now."

Hayeier nodded, glanced at Klayr and Roy, and seeing that neither of them had any objections, said:

"Then I'll trouble Miss Scarlett to attach this Magic Inscription Construct to this leather armor. All the costs will be on my tab."

The elven waitress immediately replied, "Understood, Young Master Hayel."

After saying that, he very politely said to Klayr and Roy, "Please come with me..."

The elven waitress led the three up to the second floor of the Inscription Workshop. Surprisingly, there were some chairs in the spacious corridor. The elven waitress led the three to a room, knocked gently on the door, and received a response from inside. The elven waitress pushed the door open, and the room was like a magic laboratory. There was a row of bookshelves on the right, a row of material shelves on the left, and a magic experiment table in the middle.

Magician Scarlett sat behind the experimental table, mixing a magical dye.

Sensing someone entering through the door, the Magician Scarlett looked up and first saw Hayeier, then Roy and Klayr ...

"Roy, it's you? You know Hayeier?"

Magician Scarlett stood up from behind the magic experiment table and greeted him warmly.

Before Roy could speak, Hayeier explained:

"We are students from the Elf Academy, Miss Scarlett."

A group of people sat down in the rest area of the magic laboratory, Hayeier explained their purpose to the Magician Scarlett.

Scarlett glanced up at Roy, her eyes clearly saying, 'Didn't I already say that if you wanted to buy Magic Inscription Construct, you could have just come to me...'

To avoid any resentment from the Magician Scarlett, Roy quickly explained, "This Magic Inscription Construct was given to Klayr by Yoram.Hayel. I happened to have a set of leather armor that needed enchanting, and Klayr gave me this Magic Inscription Construct in return."

Magician Scarlett was a little confused, but she understood that Roy hadn't bought the Magic Inscription Construct.

Roy took out the leather case containing the Thick Leather Armor and placed it aside, while Klayr spread the Magic Inscription Construct on the coffee table.

Scarlett first examined the Magic Inscription Construct, nodded, and said, "This ' Spirit Gathering ' Magic Inscription Construct is quite good among low-level Magic Inscription Construct..."

She then opened the suitcase, took out a shoulder armor, and casually pulled a carving knife from her waist. She lightly scraped the seam of the shoulder armor, rubbed it in her palm, and said casually, "Petrification Lizard leather, average quality. Want to attach this ' Spirit Gathering '?"

Roy nodded.

Magician Scarlett casually put the shoulder armor back in the box and asked Roy, "Where are you going to put it?"

Roy quickly and modestly asked, "What suggestions does Miss Scarlett have?"

The Magician Scarlett took a thick leather breastplate from the suitcase, picked up the magic skin, and placed it directly on the abdomen of the breastplate, saying:

"In my opinion, the space below the sternum is just right."

Roy didn't hesitate and decisively decided, "Okay, then put it here."

The Magician Scarlett looked up at Roy and asked again, "Have you decided? If possible, I'll leave this Magic Inscription Construct here."

"Right here!" Roy said decisively.

Magician Scarlett stopped talking. She placed the thick leather breastplate and the magic leather on the workbench, then turned to mix magic potions on the materials shelf. She held a crystal enchanting bottle in her hand. Various bottles and jars were displayed on the shelf. She skillfully selected a few bottles, took out some liquid from them, and dripped them into the enchanting bottle.

A pungent smell lingered in the air.

She returned from the shelf with the prepared potion, placed it on the lab table, and then laid the leather breastplate in front of her. Using a piece of silk dipped in a transparent liquid, she began to vigorously wipe the inner side of the breastplate's lower abdomen. While carefully wiping, she said to Roy, "Only our elven race can Magic Inscription Construct onto small pieces of magical leather. This way, even if the inscription fails, the loss is only a piece of leather. Compared to our elven race, human inscription technology is much more backward. I've heard that in the Grimm Empire, with its Construct Knight Legion, to create a set of Magic Inscription Construct, you first have to make leather armor. Inscriptionists need to draw directly on the leather armor. If the drawing fails, the entire armor is ruined. However, there is one advantage to human inscriptionists directly inscribing magical runes on leather armor: some Magic Inscription Construct have set bonuses..."

With her eyes lowered, she focused intently on soaking the magic skin on the experimental table in a basin of solution until it was completely softened. She then brushed a layer of sticky liquid onto the inside of the breastplate's abdomen. Finally, she scooped the magic skin out of the basin and carefully stuck it onto the inside of the breastplate's abdomen.

She then placed the leather breastplate in front of a ventilation fan to allow the adhesive layer on the leather to dry quickly.

Each time the skin stopped sticking to her hands, Magician Scarlett would use a small brush to apply a layer of transparent glue to it, repeating this several times before stopping.

But she kept talking incessantly:

"... This Petrification Lizard leather is more compatible with Earth Magic Inscription Construct. In battle, your opponent will most likely not know where your leather Magic Inscription Construct is located, so you must carefully protect Magic Inscription Construct from damage. If it is damaged, you must find a way to repair it in time, understand?"

After saying that, Magician Scarlett handed the leather breastplate to Roy.

"Miss Scarlett, may I add some Magic Inscription Construct to this Thick Leather Armor?"

Magician Scarlett glanced at Roy and said meaningfully:

"Of course you can, but you can't add the ' Spirit Gathering ' Magic Inscription Construct to the next Magic Inscription Construct. Also, you need to have enough magical capacity. You need at least 16 magical capacity to activate the Magic Inscription Construct when you wear this leather breastplate. Have you done a capacity test? Can you activate the Magic Inscription Construct now?"

Roy nodded. "Yes, Miss Scarlett."
