There are some Silver Moon Elf officials in the Town Hall of Rampart Town; they are the true administrators of the town.

The development and construction of the town are controlled by these Silver Moon Elf. Although Roy is the governor of Rampart Town, he is only in name and has no real management authority, let alone the ability to mobilize the Half-Elf guards of Rampart Town.

The Gray Dwarf Gray Dwarf of war lived in Row House in Rampart Town, and the town's garrison was responsible for guarding them.

But once the Gray Dwarf prisoners of war leave Rampart Town, Roy will have to recruit his own Guard Squad.

After resting in Rampart Town for two days, the main purpose was to recruit such a team. Roy planned to recruit two hundred Half-Elf and take them to the Pagisto Plateau.

Roy had already written a recruitment notice in advance, and posted it on the bulletin board at the Cross Street Intersection of the town that very night.

The next morning, Roy and Kaka arrived at the town's Cross Street Intersection and waited under the recruitment notice.

Located right next to the Griffon Bulwark Mountain Range, many of the Half-Elf of Rampart Town are Magic Herbs gatherers, and recently some Half-Elf have also established Apple Orchard around the town.

Roy was actually a little worried about not being able to recruit the Half-Elf.

Commander Helix recruited guards in the Padesto City. In such a large city of Half-Elf, it took three days to recruit only a little over four hundred Half-Elf.

Roy and Kaka stood under the bulletin board, watching the pedestrians coming and going on the street.

"Roy, can we recruit any helpers by standing here?" Kaka asked somewhat nervously.

Roy glanced around and, finding no Half-Elf paying attention, wondered if he should stop a few young Half-Elf -Half-Elf on the street and ask them what they were thinking...

Just as Roy was hesitating, two young Half-Elf men approached Roy and Kaka and asked, "Are you planning to recruit Half-Elf Guard Squad?"

"Hmm..." Roy replied.

Before Roy could explain, the Half-Elf youth stared at him and then asked:

"You must be Boss Roy?"

"It's me," Roy nodded.

"I want to join your Guard Squad! I just don't know if that's possible?" The Half-Elf was a little excited, and spoke quickly.

Roy made him stand up straight, and seeing that he had all his limbs intact, was agile, and spoke clearly and fluently, he said, "My Half-Elf Guard Squad is lacking a young Half-Elf like you!"

The young Half-Elf was overjoyed upon hearing this. In his excitement, he turned and shouted loudly towards the other side of the street:

"Come quick, this is Boss Roy! I'm qualified! I'm sure you all can too!"

A group of Half-Elf youths suddenly rushed out from the street corner and quickly surrounded the notice board.

Everyone raised their hands to express their desire to join the Guard Squad. Roy and Kaka were startled by this sudden turn of events and quickly registered these young Half-Elf, also checking their health.

Roy discovered that the Half-Elf of Rampart Town were surprisingly active, and more and more Half-Elf were gathering at the Cross Street Intersection, seriously affecting traffic at the intersection.

Left with no other choice, Roy could only take these Half-Elf to a clearing in the woods.

In just one afternoon, Roy recruited five hundred Half-Elf.

Although many more Half-Elf still wanted to sign up, they decided to stop because it was just a team escorting Gray Dwarf prisoners of war and it wouldn't be good to recruit too many Half-Elf.

Roy told the Half-Elf to disperse on the spot, go home to say goodbye to their families, pack their belongings, and report to the Row House before dark.

The Half-Elf then scattered in a flurry, running off to various parts of the town...

Roy was surprised that the recruitment work in Rampart Town was so easy, with so many Half-Elf wanting to go to the Pagisto Plateau to broaden their horizons.

"I thought we wouldn't be able to find enough people, but I didn't expect so many elves to sign up."

On the way back to the Row House, Roy couldn't help but say something to Kaka.

"Many young Half-Elf probably want to see the scenery of the Pagisto Plateau. Perhaps they admire Commander Helik's deeds. I've heard that many Half-Elf in Rampart Town greatly admire Commander Helik, thinking that he is a hero among half-elfs for leading a group of Half-Elf Half-Elf Warrior on adventures in the Pagisto Plateau..."

Kaka said with great enthusiasm.

He is actually a Half-Elf, and in Rampart Town, he can chat freely with other Half-Elf.

For the past two weeks or so, Kaka has been waiting for Roy in Rampart Town.

"Now we have enough manpower. We'll set off for the camp at the foot of the Pagisto Plateau tomorrow morning. Kaka, you two scout ahead for us from the sky. If the road ahead is impassable, it's best to let us know in advance," Roy said to Kaka.

"No problem!" Kaka readily agreed.

The Gray Dwarf prisoners of war spent the night in the Row House, and during the day they sunbathed in the open space outside the Row House.

These Gray Dwarf prisoners of war had probably suffered some hardships, so they behaved very obediently throughout the journey, doing almost everything they were told, and none of Gray Dwarf even thought of escaping...

Vice Captain Tennyson led eleven Dark Moon Elf infiltrating the Guard Squad, and they did not encounter Gray Dwarf prisoners of war escaping along the way.

These Row House contain a lot of supplies that Leishande acquired. Due to the war, there was a severe food shortage on the Pagisto Plateau, so Leishande mainly transported food to the Pagisto Plateau.

Among the supplies stockpiled in the warehouse were some Light Leather Armor, as well as Elf Long Sword and spears that Klayr had sent from Castleton City.

These weapons were not immediately transported to the Pagisto Plateau because the standard weapons supplied by the Silver Pegasus Legion were clearly superior to those stored in the Row House.

Roy recruited five hundred Half-Elf Warrior in Rampart Town and used the military supplies in the Row House warehouse. It was enough to equip these Half-Elf warriors with light armor, and each of them was also given a longsword and a spear. In this way, a five-hundred-man Half-Elf Guard Squad was formed in just half a day.

The following morning, Leishande's caravan and Roy's Prisoner of War Camp left Rampart Town together.

Leishande also gave up five hundred argali sheep from his caravan, Half-Elf Warrior rode on the sheep, holding sharp spears, forming a long procession.

Kaka and several Griffon Cavalry also set off from Rampart Town, flying ahead of time to their camp at the foot of the Pagisto Plateau.

Along the way, Roy discussed with Leishande how to transport the heavy Magic Furnace in Padesto City to the Pagisto Plateau. Because the crucibles of those Magic Furnace were too heavy, a pack animal caravan could not carry them. Only large wagons could pull them, but even that would only get them to the foot of the Pagisto Plateau.

We need to find another way to transport the furnace to the plateau.

Kaka said that griffins could be used to transport these Magic Furnace to the Pagisto Plateau, but the Griffon Corps doesn't use them for cargo transport.
