Early in the morning, when Roy left home, Ms. Belinda's door was still closed.

The dress she had worn yesterday was still draped over the back of a chair in the living room, and her shoes lay by the entrance in the foyer.

Roy placed the brewed fruit tea on the dining table, then quietly slipped out of the house.

He made his way to the Cross Street Intersection on Brown Street.

As he stood at the Cross Street Intersection waiting for the Long Carriage, Mrs. Winnie's Night Blade Leopard poked its head out of its little nest. After peeking at Roy a few times, it lazily lay back down.

Rarely, there was no fog in the morning. Blue sea and clear skies.

Sunlight scattered across the sea surface, making the waves sparkle.

Castleton Harbour's docks were especially busy in the early morning.

When Roy looked toward the docks, he happened to spot the black sea vessel stranded on West Beach.

But now, an apricot-yellow flag was actually fluttering from the ship building of that great black sea ship, swaying back and forth in the sea breeze.

Though the flag was somewhat tattered, like an old scrap of gauze caught in the wind, it signified one thing: someone had taken over the Sea Wolf.

Roy was rather curious. Who was bold enough to occupy the Sea Wolf at a time like this?

Weren't they afraid that the dwarf Captain would come looking for them at night?

He really wanted to go over and take a look himself, but a Long Carriage slowly approached along the street from afar.

Roy did not want to miss this carriage, because if he did, there was no telling how long he would have to wait for the next one.
