"Roy, why are you back from Sun Island Bay? How are things over there?"
It seemed every elf he met asked the same question.
Christine wore a delighted expression as she walked out of her office and greeted Roy from the doorway.
With her Silver Moon Elf bloodline, she looked so slender, yet the two shapely, long legs beneath her uniform were white and straight. Roy was momentarily dazed. If not for those crystal-clear pointed ears snapping him back to his senses, he might have thought he was standing before some seductive bone demoness.
"Uh... well, the situation at Sun Island Bay is fairly stable. The sea demons are holding the front line for now, while the Mine Guard Army has only provided them with military supplies. So I came to Padesto City to take a look. After all, I'm also a member of the Elven Council of Elders. I can't just stay at Sun Island Bay... without showing my face."
Roy avoided her clear gaze, not quite daring to look directly at her.
Christine, dressed in a Standard Military Uniform, radiated mature sensuality. She generously invited Roy inside and had him sit on the long sofa in the lounge area. A Silver Moon Elf maid brought him a cup of fruit tea scented with flowers.
Roy had heard Ms. Belinda mention that when Silver Moon Elf nobles drank tea, it contained not only fruit and honey aromas, but all kinds of herbal fragrances as well...
Only now did he truly taste a Silver Moon Elf noble's beverage.
Christine sat down opposite Roy. The other elves in the office all stole curious glances at him. On the Pattington Plane, Boss Roy's name was even more famous than Earl Swynborne's. Everyone was curious what sort of Half-Elf Roy really was.
