Roy had purchased these large magic bolts at enormous expense. Each magic bolt was worth two Magic Crystal Stones. The crew could only use Whaling Ballistas to target the Gray Dwarf Bandits aboard the ships, which meant that killing a single Gray Dwarf Bandit cost Roy at least two Magic Crystal Stones—and that was only if they hit. When these Magic Crystal Arrows landed on the Three-Masted Sailboats, nearly every Gray Dwarf Bandit within the blast radius instantly turned into an ice crystal, standing atop the ships like crystal Stone Sculptures carved by artists.
