Queen Island's coastline was scorched black. Waves pushed charred, rotten planks from wrecked ships onto the beach, turning the white sands filthy. The elves could even find dwarven weapons buried in the sand.

To the elves, the tower shields and warhammers used by dwarves were simply too heavy. Even strength-focused Sword Dancers were unaccustomed to using such warhammers.

They had heard that the orc warriors in the north were quite fond of dwarven weapons.

The orcs had always managed to hold the Mensa Plain and completely block the Dark Moon Elves of the Eternal Night Forest from advancing northward, partly because the dwarves had secretly supplied the orcs with fine weapons.

The Gray Dwarf Bandits had been defeated in the Empress Ivini Islands not merely because the Silver Moon Elves controlled the skies.

Another reason was that the eight Magic Airships Roy had brought carried a vast number of magic weapons.

This battle had truly been a money-burning affair. A single Magic Burst Arrow was worth two Magic Crystal Stones. When Roy had the Magic Airships fire a concentrated volley at the Gray Dwarf Bandits' Three-Masted Sailboats, it had practically burned through the cost of an entire Magic Inscription Construct. While burning the Three-Masted Sailboats at Queen Island, the eight Magic Airships had expended more than two thousand magic crossbow bolts, most of them Magic Burst Arrows.

When Roy led the eight Magic Airships to the outskirts of the Empress Ivini Islands to pursue the thirty-three Three-Masted Sailboats, nearly all the ammunition consumed in battle had been Magic Crystal Arrows.

Although there had only been thirty-three Three-Masted Sailboats, Roy had wanted to seize every one of them. Over the three-day battle, they had used as many as eight thousand Magic Crystal Arrows, completely emptying the eight
