Roy's Operation Plan

Roy's Magic Airship was the last to enter the Wind Stream Layer. After raising its balloon sails, the airship turned with the wind. As the white sails on the main mast billowed, it began speeding forward.

The Silver Pegasus Knight Order did not want to suffer the bitter frost of flying into the Wind Stream Layer, so they could only fly low over the sea. Even "low" meant roughly a hundred meters above the sea surface...

However, that meant the Silver Pegasus Knight Order would leave the Magic Airships far behind in terms of speed.

The Magic Airships reached the Empress Ivini Islands in the afternoon. Night soon fell, making travel through the Wind Stream Layer much safer. After flying all night, the sea beneath them finally turned a deep blue.

Roy did not choose to fly directly above Kui Island and land in the surrounding waters.

The fifteen Magic Airships landed in the sea twenty nautical miles from Kui Island, then hid behind a small island. Roy did not spot any of the Gray Dwarf Bandits' Three-Masted Sailboats in the surrounding waters and had thought the nautical chart was inaccurate.

Jiezena sent out a Siren scouting squad, which quickly dove into the Endless Sea and headed toward Kui Island in the direction Roy had indicated.

By noon, the Siren scouting squad had safely returned to the fleet. The Siren Warriors brought back news that there was indeed a Volcano Island twenty nautical miles ahead. There was a harbor dock on the island's southern side, with at least forty Three-Masted Sailboats moored nearby. Besides those, there were more than a dozen Five-Masted Sailing Ships, as well as many Small Wooden Boats.
