The Half-Elves on Pattington Island recognized Roy the moment they saw him.

Everyone stood in the streets, calling his name again and again and greeting him warmly.

"Hey, good afternoon, Boss Roy!"

"Hey, isn't that Boss Roy... Why is he here?"

"Boss Roy? Where? Impossible! Shouldn't he be on the Pattington Plane right now?"

"It really is Boss Roy!"

More and more elves looked toward Roy, and some waved at him. Roy responded to each of them before walking into the town within the mountain.

Pattington Town was still much the same. The only difference was that the Teleportation Portal in the town square was gone.

Since this was no longer a necessary route to the Pattington Plane, the town square had instantly become much quieter.

Standing beside the square, Roy saw the two enormous stone bases left behind after the portal had been removed. The entire town square had become empty as well...

There were even several Half-Elves setting up stalls here.

Roy sighed softly. Because of the Magic Herbs, Pattington Island had once been the most prosperous island in the region. Although the island was now packed with Half-Elves, the town's economy was gradually declining.

When he arrived at Nancy's inn on the second level of the rock wall at the edge of town, Roy stood at the entrance and knocked gently on the door.

Nancy came out from inside, opened the wooden door, and smiled at Roy. "I thought you'd be busy for a while. I didn't expect you to return to Pattington Town so soon. Did everything go smoothly on Kui Island?"
