Although Roy was not very familiar with Commander Steel, there was no bad blood between them, and they had even met once in Gorfito Canyon.
By all rights, Commander Steel should not have had his Silver Moon Elf Knights turn the Magic Airship upside down. Doing so was practically a blatant attempt to put Roy in his place and openly declare his stance—I don't know you!
Roy had not expected his first encounter with the Seventeenth Silver Pegasus Legion after so long to end so unpleasantly.
This unpleasantness cast a shadow over the Magic Airship's journey to Queen Island.
"It seems the connections you built in the Silver Pegasus Legion aren't all that solid. At the very least, they no longer need to consider your feelings. In fact, because it was you, they even went out of their way to make the search seem fairer."
Great Mage Greimus emerged from the cabin, looked at the mess covering the deck, and mocked Roy.
Roy gave a bitter smile. "Honestly, I didn't expect this either. I thought I had treated him rather well back in Gorfito. Even if we couldn't become friends, we could at least nod to each other and exchange a few pleasantries whenever we met..."
"He's a Silver Moon Elf noble, after all. And what about you? Back when you were in the Seventeenth Silver Pegasus Legion, you were always a thorn in the side of those councilors from the Buenos Elven Council of Elders. Your reputation among Silver Moon Elf nobles isn't very good!"
Great Mage Greimus burst into laughter and mocked Roy without the slightest restraint.
"Do you think the Seventeenth Silver Pegasus Legion might have received an order forbidding you from entering the Silver Moon Elf Kingdom?" Great Mage Greimus continued to speculate.
